Very clean, great location, serene, train station is proximate to the house and shopping plazas are walking distance. The hist is super nice and professional. He’s always readily available when we call. He checks in on us to ensure we’re comfortable.

Perfect location for our trip. Easy to access and the accommodation overall is what you should expect for a historic building. The staff were very friendly and the room itself was clean. Late night access was available via the keys provided which allowed us to return late in the evening.

The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, mini kitchen and en suite bathroom. You could park in the nearby parking lot for £5/24hours or on the street for free from 6pm-8am. The concierge was friendly. It's across the road from Strood train station for quick access to London St Pancras

Prior to booking I was told the spa is open until - this was advices twice the day before when I booked and on the day of the reservation when we arrived spa was not open.

Easy walk into Rochester, 100 yards to bus stop with good services to North Kent.
I was walking the Saxon Shore Way and used it as a base for day walks using public transport as required to get to Gravesend, High Halstow, Chatham and Gillingham
