It was beautiful, the pub is great, the rooms are well furnished, you get a great night’s sleep and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice.
We appreciated that staff found I had left my toothbrush and toothpaste in the room and they bothered to tie it to my car while we were exploring Shaftesbury. They did know we were leaving the car in the carpark for a little while.

It was not too far from Stonehenge. Such a a quaint, beautiful and cosy cottage. It sleeps 6 adults comfortably. Open kitchen and dining area. Love the goats and scenery just outside. Host went above and beyond with our laundry and drying.

Wish we’d had longer to explore the surrounding area.
