The hotel was very well kept and the room was better than expected. The on suite was excellent. We would have liked two chairs in the room as one of us had to sit on the bed. The breakfast was of a continental help your self affair. But every thing we needed was provided. The fact it was included in the room price was pleasing. All in all. A very pleasant stay and we would recommend it.

Location very rural, roads to it are rough. Not a problem for many but be aware if your vehicle has low clearance. Annex where we stayed had a twin bedded room downstairs and a double upstairs however there was only one front door key which we sorted amicably with the lady in the double room. The doors to the bedrooms could only be locked from the inside not the outside. Definitely not ideal. The shower was reached from the hallway so not technically en suit. There was no shower door or curtain and there was a small leak from underneath the wash hand basin. We put the bucket from the pedal bin under to stop the floor getting soaked. The toilet and shower were very clean but there was only tepid water available on the evening of arrival. The following morning the water was piping hot. The bedroom itself had no wardrobe or hanging facilities and no chairs. The sheets were clean and the beds comfy but a bit of dust was to be seen and the odd cobweb. I had requested gluten free bread/roll for breakfast which did not materialize the first morning but was organized by the second so I had to have just cornflakes as I don't eat a cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfast looked adequate but not exceptional. The price was extremely reasonable but you do get what you pay for. If you are easy going people this could well be fine for you. Finicky people not such a good choice. It was really peaceful and a lovely old building. The host was very pleasant.
Springfields is an award-winning B&B just 1700 ft from Horsham Park and Horsham Museum. It has modern, individually designed rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and traditional English breakfasts.

I have a problem where i need an Invoice but i am getting no support from the property owner. They keep sending me the payment receipt. I have provided the details i need to produce a valid Invoice and the Gov.uk link but still no Invoice from the property owners. I would NOT recommend if you are using the location for business travel.

I didn't spend any time in the village itself because I was attending a nearby event with family and friends.
However I can recommend the Firebird Brewery and The Milk Churn which were very near my accommodation.
I do hope to stay a little longer next year when I attend the music event again.

Rudgwick is a small village so there isn't much to see or do there but plenty of walks, and a decent farm coffee shop plus a few pubs for eating our or take-aways. It is easy however to travel to other locations from Rudgwick and so it is convenient for exploring the South Downs.
