Great location - 10 minutes walk from station and very close to town center. Also in a relatively quiet part of the city. The room was large and clean and well appointed. It had a night light in the bathroom for safety. THANK YOU!

Darlington is a vibrant northern town with a big future.
Darlington is a vibrant northern town with a big future. You only have to look at the developments at the train station, and the fact part of the treasury is relocating there. A bigger brighter future for darlo awaits.

It was beautiful with lots of interesting history & it's got beautiful grounds which would be beautiful in the summer so can't wait to plan another trip to The George in the summer time. The room was very clean & had everything we needed. The only negative I have is we had to ask about information about meals etc but the staff were more than helpful

The staff at 119 are just lovely, so friendly and helpful. The boss is prepared to do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, he really is a top man! The facilities are faultless, everywhere is clean and tidy. The kitchen has tea and coffee facilities, and can be used whenever needed, (obviously taking other guests into consideration)
My partner and I have stayed here twice now and would not stay anywhere else, we have found somewhere that's comfortable friendly professional and above all else brilliant value for money.

Beautiful hotel set in large grounds just outside Darlington centre. Lovely quiet setting and only a 30min walk from the town centre.
The hotel is full of character and history.
The staff at reception for very friendly and welcoming and I was checked in quickly. My room was immaculate. Very clean, comfy bed, nice en suite.
I did have a drink at the bar and they had a good selection of drinks. I had a pint of beer which was £5 so a good price.
Would definitely stay again.
The single room with private bathroom is nice, well furnished and has a comfy bed. The shower in the bathroom is amazing. Jamie is a kind host, makes your stay even nicer. It's a great place for people who don't want a luxury stay. Very good value for money in Darlington. The hotel has a very clean kitchen to be used by guests (and free milk as well!!).
Lovely and cozy place. Pauline was very responsive to my questions and helpful. I was a bit concerned that I was going to be too far away from Darlington, etc., but was delighted to discover that I really could have walked to Teeside International Airport even though I did book a taxi in advance. Also, there was a nice pub nearby for my evening meal.
Straight away I was welcomed to the property, and made to feel very welcome. The Hotel is clean and tidy through out. The room was very well presented, including the on-suite. Lots of options for breakfast. Everything is freshly made to your requirements. Overall, the stay was great.
I would recommend to anybody visiting Darlington, to stay here
We have stayed there in the past and it is always good. This time through no fault of the hotel there was a power cut. No electricity from 4.30pm to 9.30pm. We would have eaten in the hotel but went elsewhere had to drive to Darlington. There was no recompense not even a free drink. A bit disappointing.
First staff on arrival was a really and helpful lady who offered to change our room due to initial room being above the ball room whilst events were on. Really clean and tidy room, good room size and hotel was a great location. Parking facilities very handy and ideal, overall good value for money.
Everything was wonderful. The staff were excellent and attentive. The hotel was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, with extremely comfortable We also enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which was outstanding. The hotel is a gem and a welcoming addition to Darlingtons hotel accommodation.
I stay there regularly as I visit my mother in a care home in Darlington and the hotel provides flexible, low-cost accommodation and the staff are great. The rooms are pretty standard but the linen is clean and crisp and they're always happy to provide what you need
Room, location, Nora from the shop Fish and chips who actually helped me to get inside the hotel. The kitchen was helpful, there is everything you need for a quick breakfast. Microwave, frudge and kettle work well. The fridge is very small, but it was fairly clean
Nice apartment in a good location for the centre of Darlington, with everything you need. Easy access and seamless booking process. Bathrobes a nice touch.
