Exmouth is a great centre with a variety of transport options . Train and boat round Robins ate available as is train to Exeter and Dawlish. The river is very interesting and there are wonderful sunsets if you are lucky weather wise! There are a variety of eating options and good fresh fish.

I have been visiting Exmouth on and off since a child and later with my husband and family although this is the first time in 10 years. It has changed very little over these years especially the sea front. I was not disappointed.

We've always loved Exmouth with it's beautiful long beach, sand and attractions. We love the harbour and views across to Dawlish Warren, Town centre is lovely with plenty of eateries. Seafront still has some natural, uncommercialised areas although there are the usual shops, amusements, municipal parks and rides including a great music venue

Weather for us was shocking, however that is clearly a transient thing. We went to Powderham Castle which we found interesting. We did find some excellent restaurants though. For seafood - Rockfish, on the sea front For Nepalese fusion food - Namaste, town centre For tapas - Olivo - town centre. You will need to book as they are popular.

There is lots to do in Exmouth and the town is very clean. There is a good choice of restaurants and it was easy to find menus suitable for a young toddler. The staff in all the restaurants were friendly.

Really friendly people, lovely clean beach, which may not suit families as the current down there is very fast. We did a boat trip of the Jurassic Coastline, which was most informative and excellent value.

-The location is good, it's right in the centre -The price was good for what it was. I booked Superior Double but wanted to stay in the same room I was in, so this review is of a standard double. -If you just require a bed for the night in a central location in Exmouth, it's a good choice for the price. A comfortable bed in an ensuite room and close to everything, so if that's what you're after I'd book here.

Wonderfully dog friendly. None of the usual ‘must do this, can’t do that’ nonsense. Only a fee and a restaurant restriction, which makes total sense. Well done Imperial Hotel.

It was so easy to walk into the town from the hotel. We didn't need to use the car for the three days we stayed at the Royal Beacon Hotel.
