the location was good to to get to places in the local area. The general place was good but our room was cramped and not in keeping with the overall sense of the place.

Loved how close it was to the beach and it was a lovely roomy property.

We were there for a specific event, but found Sheringham itself a bit of a let down. Maybe because it was April and out of season? but everything seem to close at 4pm and then practically completely shut down by 8pm!
AND THIS IS ON A SATURDAY!
There was only one proper takeaway fish and chip bar (2 others were closed down) and this one had a queue the length of the entire road!
Even the restaurants were closed by 8!
After that the only things that were still open were amusements and ice cream bars, of which I counted at least 4! within feet of each other!
Where does everyone go?

A great base for a North Norfolk short stay.
A great base for a North Norfolk short stay.
We find that Sheringham is mainly day trippers so becomes quiet come early evening, not as crowded as other spots with a handful of good eateries.
Access to Cromer via the beach walk or cliff top walk or bus or train if not feeling energetic.
Holt via the steam train is a great day trip from here.
A lot of country parks/national trust properties within half hour drive.
Don't miss whelks copper tea rooms overlooking the pebble beach end of the beach and Stubbys pizza is also great.

I like Sheringham, but only visited twice in Winter (for Thursford Show).
I think it would be lovely in Summer.
It is an old fashioned seaside resort , but unlike many others, has thrived and not deteriorated.
Many individual shops and a few nice pubs and coffee places.

Sheringham is a great place to visit as it has something for everyone. Families can enjoy the beach plus an assortment of eateries so spoilt for choice. Older people can enjoy a variety of shops. We enjoyed the walking as its one of our favourite past times.
There are so many different places to eat from pubs to cafe's the choice is endless. We always make a point of visiting The Hub for coffee and cake as it is always clean and staff very helpful too.
The room, Colombo, is a great size also very comfortable and relaxing. Bed also a good size. Great big wardrobe. Perera and Vatsala are a lovely couple - very obliging, friendly and hospitable. We loved the range of fruit provided for breakfast. Also very happy with the location - right next to the old priory and maze and priory gardens - and just a walk away from the town and seafront. We loved Sheringham and had great weather throughout.
I enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts served at this guesthouse on both mornings, and my room and bed were very comfortable. My hosts were also very welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse is in a pleasant, quiet corner of Sheringham, with easy parking on the street, and easy walking into the town centre and to the seafront. It also provides a convenient base for exploring the North Norfolk coastline and hinterland, east and west.
Fisherman's Rest is a bright, stylish and well located apartment very centrally located in the lovely seaside town of Sheringham. The weekend we visited ( March) it was cold and grey outside, but the apartment was warm and cosy, and we enjoyed spending time there. Jo is a helpful and welcoming host, and supplied tea and coffee and biscuits which was appreciated.
Perfectly located property for exploring Sheringham and North Norfolk, with the added bonus of a private driveway.
We had a wonderful, comfortable 3 night stay. The apartment was very well equipped and much bigger than expected.
The apartment was spotless and very tastefully kitted out.
Would definitely book again!!
The hosts at the Camberley were found to be very welcoming, the breakfast was exceptional, with lots of choices from cereal through to full English
The property was pleasantly decorated throughout, bedroom (rm 2) was ample for our needs, with pleasant views over Sheringham, ensuite had a super power shower,
Location was superb. Very central. Check in was easy. Laura was very responsive when I had a question. The little crab shack is very cute and nicely decorated. A great base for visiting local attractions or seeing Sheringham and Cromer. I also went to Blakeney Poont, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall.
Everything was perfect the room luxury decor. Tea coffee & biscuits replenished daily. Delicious breakfast. Andrew & James were lovely hosts and the cake on arrival was a nice surprise. Easy stroll to Sheringham centre.
Exceptional breakfast and very friendly owners. Location very good and within close walking distance of beach, restaurants, cafes, museum, golf course, shops. Everything in Sheringham available to cater for everyone.
We have visited Norfolk many times and this is the best self-catering accommodation so far. It has parking is close to town and beach and all the little details essential to your stay are present.
Very comfortable, well furnished small apartment. Perfect for our four night stay. Better furnished than I expected from the photos and reviews. Near shops and the seafront. Pleasant little town.
Location fine as it was near the North Norfolk Railway which we were visiting. There was no Breakfast even though it was advertised as included and we had to make our own arrangements.
WHEN YOU SEE HOME-MADE FRUIT SALAD TO START YOUR BREAKFAST, YOU KNOW THAT ALL IS WELL.
HOLMAN HOUSE IS VERY CONVENIENT FOR THE RAILWAY STATION, BUSES AND THE NORTH NORFOLK RAILWAY.
Great location for a walking holiday, close to the coast, Sheringham has a large number of shops/food outlets,
local buses are a convenient way to return from a long castal walk.
Great location for the North Norfolk railway and the seafront. Good to have onsite parking. Good choices for breakfast too. Nice to be able to relax on the patio.
The Apartment is in an excellent quiet location almost on seafront in the heart of Sherringham.
It was warm and well equipped for cooking and quite comfortable.
Great location for exploring the North Norfolk coast Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were amazing and the owners very friendly and accommodatin.
