We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel. We went for the Lytham Festival and the hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and a 5 min drive from the festival. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a large wardrobe and plenty of hangers. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee. There were toiletries in the bathroom soap shampoo and shower gel. A slight improvement would be to add a small shelf in the shower as there isn't anywhere to put the shampoo whilst washing your hair which proved quite difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, fresh fruit juice and a full English all included in the price. I would definitely stay again.
Located on St.Annes Promenade, this stylish hotel overlooks the Irish Sea and St.Annes Beach, and offers stunning interior decor and quality furnishings.

The family-run Monterey Beach Hotel enjoys a fantastic seafront location on Lytham St Annes’s North Promenade. There is a hotel bar, free parking and a TV in every bedroom.
Breakfast excellent choice. Evening meal good standard.

Lytham town is quaint & has lots of lovely cafes & bars. There are all kinds of shops, many very classy.
St Anne`s shopping area is not quite as good but it leads straight to the pier & beach area. Lots of nice walks. Fairhaven lake area very pretty.

Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now.
Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now. Hubby absolutely loves it there & the beaches are lovely (though I’m not a lover of sand). There are plenty of restaurants, pubs/bars & shops too suit all pockets & tastes. We’ve walked from Lytham St Anne’s through to St.Annes on Sea (where the Windmill is) & then round to Lytham square where there are lots of places for a drink & meal, after stopping at a local bar with pub grub (The Railway). So yes I’d recommend. Beaches are safe, there’s a small funfair, & plenty of garden’s (e.g. Ashton’s Park) & if it rains there’s a cinema & an indoor pool. So also plenty to keep kids entertained. The bus service is pretty regular although it can be confusing if you are new to the place - we would have gotten bus into Blackpool (if a local hadn’t told us) instead of into Lytham Square where we were going for a meal at the ‘Olive Tree’, 54 is also good as are Allegria (in St Anne’s) & The Anatolia Sky (on sea front). The chippy near the pier is also good (& cheaper than what we pay at home for fish & chips) with big portions.

We walked to Lytham one day and to Blackpool and back the next, even in not so good weather but St Annes is right in the middle of the two. The town itself is lovely and with plenty of charm and plenty of nice pubs etc. We had a lovely fish supper in the "St Annes Fish Restaurant", very reasonable and delicious. As it was off season, not too busy but thats how we like it. A trip to the "Island cinema" was a pleasant change on a dreary day.

There sems to be confusion between Lytham St Annes and Lytham. These are two different locations, Lytham being south of Lytham St Annes. The White House is ideally situated for both locations. Lytham has a charming shopping centre and is particularly good for street cafes.

Lovely modern newly renovated hotel & rooms, right in the heart of Lytham Square with all its restaurants, bars & shops, literally on the doorstep. Room was clean & modern, with a walk in shower, beds were really comfy. There was tea/coffee making facilities along with a super quiet fan and a hanging rail and shelf for your clothes. As the hotel is unmanned we only saw the cleaners the morning we were leaving, everything else was done efficiently via email/phone. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.
Staff extremely helpful and pleasant.
Room was large (Deluxe Double Room with extra large bed - very comfortable.) room modern and very clean.
Bathroom with shower - great.
After attending a show in Lytham returned & had a drink in the bar positioned at the front of the hotel, chap at the bar was friendly.
Continental Breakfast was fantastic with an excellent selection of food.
Car parking space available too
We have stayed at the HY Hotel on several occasions. It is perfect for a young family. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is in a good state of repair and the pool and gym are great. The location is perfect for Lytham and Blackpool, free parking and the staff are very friendly. We have stayed at all the hotels in the Lytham area that have a swimming pool, but HY Hotel is always our first choice now.
Beautiful hotel. Excellent restaurant facilities. Comfortable and spacious. Well designed and decorated. Same for the bedroom. Really nice, tasteful and luxurious. The en-suite appeared to be brand new. Everywhere exceptionally clean. All the staff were outstanding. Exceptional views over the estuary particularly at sunrise and sunset. Only about 50 yards from Lytham High St with its lovely shops.
We were attending a family party being held there so it was very convenient. Hotel was bright, modern but also cosy in the lounge areas . Bar area was very nice and the lounge where we had the afternoon function was really lovely and the sun streamed through the large windows which was perfect.
The breakfast served to your table was absolutely delicious and served by very friendly staff.
Location excellent for all of Lytham facilities. Hotel was spotlessly clean and has had a recent upgrade. Didn't have any food but the breakfast menu looked ample. Would definitely stay again. On reflection, breakfast could have been included in the price, although there are many cafés available and even a Witherspoon's for cheap food.
The family room was excellent for a family of four and was huge. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was really nice and fresh. Will definitely stay again. Would recommend for a couple or a family. Great location for Lytham and only 5 mins drive into Blackpool with free parking at the hotel.
We were attending the Lytham Festival and the hotel was in an excellent location just a few hundred metres from the entrance. The whole experience at the hotel was excellent; from arriving at the car park, through to check-in, the room size and standards and check out. Breakfast delicious with exceptional service.
Very relaxed, staff lovely
Close to all amenities we wanted ,prom for walks ,pitch n putt course and lovely swim in hotel during the day
Then on bus outside hotel to Lytham festival each night
Night cap at bar on return from festival
Plenty of relaxing seating areas
friendly, helpful staff. Good Breakfast. Our room was facing the sea so had a great view. Great walking paths along the seaside. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Our main reason for visiting was to visit Royale Lytham St Annes Golf Club.
Everything , the decor gave off a 5star feel in the rooms and around the hotel.(inspired) Everywhere we looked was some lovely art work. The host was lovely too. It was great to come to a hotel where the dog was made just as welcome as the humans.
The room was lovely with a very comfy bed. The dining room was bright and clean and the breakfast and evening meal offered a great choice of food which was delicious, the wine was also reasonable which is unusual in a lot of hotels.
It was nice, clean and comfortable and Anna was friendly and helpful,Breakfast was lovely and hot and plenty of choice.hotel was in a great position for lythams shops and only 10 minutes from blackpool
Location was great , couldn"t get a parking space near the hotel room ,But plenty of free spaces 5 minutes walk away. But we were told that , So no issues to be honest.
