We love history and it is here in spades !!!
We love history and it is here in spades !!! We love the architecture and could spend days wandering around and gazing at the magnificence. We are coming back and staying longer next time. So much to see and so much to do. A little on the crowded side but we have so much more to see. The museum area is vast and the museums are free to enter. London is amazing—this is my third visit, and it just keeps getting better. The locals are friendly and more than happy to help out if you need directions or tips. Once you get the hang of the transport system, the whole city opens up to you. You’ll be zipping from one iconic spot to another in no time. Pro tip: Book excursions online. Lines can be brutally long, and many activities sell out well in advance—planning ahead really pays off. Unexpected highlight? The night bus. London is a nightmarish city in terms of noise. I found it quite unbearable during both of my visits this time, so I'm very much unlikely to ever stay there ever again. If you want peace and quiet, run as far away as possible, that's the only thing I can recommend. Sirens of ambulances or police cars are just horrendous, worse than the toy cars of children, would wake up a whole city.
