Lovely and cozy hotel. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our room. The room was extremely comfortable, with lots of space and a big bed. Our waiter at dinner, He-man, was beyond exceptional to us and everyone in the dining room.

Went to school here and was attending a birthday with old school friends. Crick has never lost its charm . There are stunning views everywhere , gorgeous independent shops, cafes, bakery and butcher. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Crickhowell x

Love the river Usk and its surrounding area. At least 2 great art galleries. Felin fach Griffin, near Brecon, has great food, so does the restaurant by the cathedral in brecon. manor Hotel in crickhowel has very good food but very slow service!

The room was clean, the whole building very tired & worn , needs a lot of money spent on it ! Naomi was a very helpful lady she offered us a lift to the local pub which was very kind of her , very friendly & helpful ! Unfortunately the lady on the reception desk when we arrived was not so pleasant, kept talking over me which is found very frustrating.

Lovely small, vibrant town with a good atmosphere, plenty of places to eat and drink and small independent shops. Nice local history too with the Crickhowell Bridge and the ruins of the castle in town as well as being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

I needed to overnight at this general area as part of some cycling touring in Mid-Wales and The Manor provided comfortable accommodation with safe parking for my car and bicycle. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout; the views from most of the rooms are great. Overall, a pleasant place to stay at reasonable prices if you use online searches effectively. For me, it is a relatively easy, off road stroll of some 1/2 mile to a good Indian restaurant and a little further into the centre of town with some lively pubs.

Kestrel Inn is well-sited and overlooks the scenic Cwmdu valley. The Inn and its rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, and the owners are welcoming with much-needed advice on places to visit and things to do. Breakfast was cooked by the owners, which we appreciated greatly, and dinners were found in the historic village of Crickhowell, which is only a 6 minute drive away. The Inn is well-placed to explore Brecon Beacons National Park by car or bicycle, with quiet country lanes starting literally over the road.

Crickhowell is a charming walkable Welsh town, where we needed to stay for one night before collecting our rental narrowboat nearby. As Mom & daughter travelling together, we needed 2 bedrooms. This small home fitted us perfectly, although people with difficulty walking might find the narrow steep stairs up to the bedrooms difficult. It was spotlessly clean and the host quickly and most helpfully answered my many questions both before our arrival and during our stay. Would return without hesitation.

Easy to find Hotel. Quiet location [and within walking distance of Crickhowell]. Ample parking space. Pleasant grounds to wander in. Very comfortable bed; warm room with plenty of storage for luggage etc. Really appreciated the addition of sachets of oat milk and not just plain milk on our tray of room refreshments.. Dinner was really very good with a small but good range of options for every course. All staff that we encountered were attentive, polite, friendly and helpful.

Excellent location and period style property in the heart of Crickhowell. Comfortable and well furnished rooms throughout. Very clean on arrival and keys easily collected from the Dragon Inn hotel which is a short walk away from the property. Parking excellent at the Hotel as well. Two large bedrooms and a separate dining and sitting area. I would certainly stay here again. I enjoyed the paintings throughout the house as well.

Great stay in a lovely property. Crickhowell is a cute town and the dragon inn perfectly located. The pub/ hotel has a car park, and nice rooms - clean, neutral decor, comfy beds. Despite being over a pub it was very quiet - it is not a late night venue and seemed a calm and relaxed spot. lovely Welsh breakfast included. highly recommended! - also, dog friendly - maybe not in all rooms, so do check / let them know.

The Barn is a very nice cottage, very quiet. There is a big kitchen , on the first floor two bedrooms and a bathroom. Behind the cottage is a small terrace for a nice breakfast in morning sun. In front of the cottage you can enjoy the evening sun. The Barn is located between Crickhowell and Abergavenney. From here it is easy to explore the Brecon Beacons, Wye valley or Usk valley

A lovely comfortable, clean and well looked after cottage. Set in a peaceful location, within a short drive to nearby towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny. We really enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more, a real home from home. Modern and very well equipped kitchen. We would recommend and would love to return 😊.
