great kitchen! beautiful garden. quiet and yet on the island of Venice. good basic hostel
United States of AmericaThe ostello is located in an old church, with 'grounds', so you can sit outside under a tree or take some sun on the lush grass lawns. Even better than the beauty, the ostello has a well equipped kitchen so you really can cook for yourself there. Not just a hot plate, microwave & kettle but full stovetop, pots, pans, skillets ,plates, glasses, all of it. Some seasonings, oil, vinegar and PASTA! Also a kettle of course and free (instant 😐) coffee and juice in reception where there is 24 hour access with tables, chairs and couches. Add a couple of vending machines and bobs your uncle!

GermanyThe room was large and had big lockers. The location was perfect, it was near a main street and a bus stop, and only a few minutes away from the station. Also seemed like a very safe area for a night or early morning walk.
DenmarkThe staff was very nice and helpful, it was pretty clean. We liked the cooking space and the utensils.
ColombiaVery good check in with all the procedures explained and great recommendations when asked. In a quieter area of Venice, but still very accessible to the sights. They didn't try to cram as many people as possible in the room and two of the six beds weren't bunk beds. Plenty of storage space and the storage locker key is included. Very nice common area with extra bathrooms for when someone is taking a shower in your area. And the common area is accessible all night so one can plan there without keeping others awake. And the proceeds from us staying there goes to the charitable organization that runs the hostel. A very nice hostel in Venice.
