The "Ostiense" neighborhood is one of the most lived and frequented neighborhoods in Rome as it provides multiple services for both tourists and the inhabitants themselves. It is easy to move around on foot and find shops, traditional restaurants, evening clubs, pubs, supermarkets, gyms and much more within walking distance! Thanks to the presence of the second university of Rome, the "Bambin Gesù" pediatric hospital and the papal Basilica of "San Paolo outside the walls", it remains one of the best known and most famous districts of Rome. The Basilica is one of the four papal basilicas of Rome, second only in size to the Basilica of San Pietro in Vaticano. Being a very popular area, it is therefore well served by public transport: within 500 meters of the apartment there are various bus stops for 4 different lines and the "San Paolo" metro station from which you can reach any destination and with only 2 km we are at the "Piramide" train station. Near the apartment there are several spaces to park the car. We also highly recommend visiting the famous Basilica of San Paolo outside the walls just 200 meters from the entrance of the building.
