Really nice hotel near the park. The rooms were small but very comfortable. The onsen area was very clean but you had to bring your own towels so the daily delivery of fresh towels to the room was appreciated. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and they do provide taq-u-bin at the front desk if you want to ship your luggage. Really excellent value.

The room was basic but the hotel had a cafe with panini sandwiches and an onsen hot bath (including an outdoor bath) which was a lot of fun for our family. The hotel is also conveniently located next to a park and walking distance to the Mirai Tower. Great location for families who want an outdoor space for kids to run around.

Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been. It’s busy environment, crowds, great sceneries, transportation system and offcourse the city illumations are really heart throbbing. It deserves one time visit in a life time. I’ve even been to Tokyo’s Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku but my personal experience is that Nagoya is much better and convenient then them.

Nagoya's not like your other big cities in Japan (like Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Fukuoka). There aren't many standout sightseeing spots or the like, so it might feel a bit dull if you are expecting those. But it is an excellent city to vibe in. Enjoy Japanese culture on a more relaxed - less touristy - way.

Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones. Less than some of the more touristy cities in Japan, but definitely worth visiting and exploring. Lots of tasty food and the district near my hotel was actually really pretty despite being more industrial than commercial.

We didn’t have much time to explore Nagoya as it was our starting point to travel to Shiroko for the Formula 1 race at Suzuka Circuit (Thurs- Sun) We did see a lot of Nagoya Station as we arrived & departed from there, walking to the apartment on arrival and back to the station on departure. It was an easy walk, not busy with many pedestrians until nearing the station. We went to the mini marts (7 Eleven also) numerous times for food and drink which we carried home. Also had meals at several of the restaurants nearby. A great location and wonderful accommodation! Would highly recommend.

Nagoya is a city without too many visiters compare to Tokyo or Osaka. It's just perfect for us to visit. It has lots of sightseeing places, like legoland, wild animal park, shopping centers, etc. We will revisit this city in near future.

Loved the convenience of everything.
Loved the convenience of everything. Transport is great, as always, in Japan. We walked through underground shopping arcades opposite the station, ate the most succulent pork in a pig restaurant there and next day, caught bus #C758 from city bus terminal, near station, to Osu Shotengai shopping street (Y210 fare). Ate okinomiyaki at a tiny restaurant there..yummm. Loved walking round exploring. Nagoya, like other Japanese cities is easy to navigate and transport is cheap. Will visit again and spend more time looking around.
Good location, close to Nagoya station though there will be a bit of extra walk to get to the airport line (Meitetsu, not JR). Room was spacious with an actual sofa and a couple of magazines/books to flip through. Room and hotel decor is modern, but the room is a little dark even with all the available lights turned on, and there is no proper writing desk (only a small round table).
comfortable bed, strategic location near subway station and lot of convenience stores like lawson, 7-11 etc nearby. Unlimited supply of bath amenities in reception area (near elevator) . Courteous hotel staff. Most of all, I love the public bath provided which located in last floor of hotel, its nice to dip in hot bath after a whole day of roaming around in nagoya.
It's one of good hotel chain in name of APA Hotel. not too far from Nagoya station (although there are construction site that make me walk a lot in my trip time) . Onsen bath quite big ,but in the time i use, there are lot of teenage play in a bath. they quite annoy me.
Space in hotel quite very wide although room quite narrow but it's OK.
Everything was amazing and the staff were so sweet and to be honest the best people we've met in Nagoya!
Room was spacious, clean and the hotel is not that far from the subway station 15 minutes (exit 12)
To be honest, this hotel is stunning, feel like a 5 stars and the breakfast very delicious you can choose between 3 restaurants :).
Great location just one stop from Nagoya station, and connected by overpass directly to the station on the Aonami line, probably not even 1 minute walk away. Amazing views, the club room also had great views drinks andsnacks. We barely ended up doing anything in Nagoya because the hotel was so enjoyable.
Breakfast was also excellent.
Amazing value for money! Located pretty close to Nagoya Station. Very good breakfast. The hotel is modern, extremely clean and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. My stay in Nagoya was unexpectedly extended for another night. I did not even think twice as to which hotel to book for the extra night.
Standard room size for a solo traveler.
Location - it was easy to go to/from the Nagoya Station. The directions were not complicated if you follow Google Maps. This is why I chose this hotel in the first place.
Baggage storage - You can leave your luggage if you arrived earlier than the check in time.
Hotel is in a great spot for dinner, there are great eats pretty much in every direction. It's also within walking distance of Nagoya Station (~20 mins) and Nagoya Castle (~18 mins) The room is a shoebox for sure, but the space wasn't wasted and it didn't feel claustrophobic. Excellent value for money.
The Hotel's location was very accessible and convenient. Its very close to Nagoya station, alot of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spacious for us - a family of 4. We were able to relax at the Hotel. We had a fun staying and discovering Nagoya. Thank you.
It was a great Hotel near Nagoya Station. It was a bit of walk but it faced on the Main Street and easy to find. Bed was comfortable and pillow bar was great. I traveled Kyoto and Tokyo this time and I want to book Sanco hotels in my next trip.
Excellent Hotel with great value for your money. Very friendly staff on the front desk and running the morning buffet.
Also, only a short subway trip to the station.
I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Nagoya.
We only stayed one night as we were visiting Ghibli Park. Very affordable hotel near Nagoya station. Room was quiet - no noise from the street. We could leave the baggage in the morning before check in.
I loved the breakfast buffet. Staff is friendly. Loved the shuttle services to and from the hotel. You just need to find it outside Exit 4 Unimall if you want to take it from Nagoya Station.
