Mixed feelings: south beach very dated and depressed, old dingy concrete buildings. Wynwood nice and interesting, other parts of the city pleasant but nothing really inspiring. Driving is very aggressive and unnerving. A general feeling of not necessarily feeling safe in Miami at large, as evidenced by certain street signs suggesting not leaving valuables in cars, etc. Also many parts of the city feel and appear neglected.
That said, I have been twice in 5 months, once in a dated trendy hotel in Sourh Beach, very unwelcoming and most recently in the NOMADA Destination residences, which was a wonderful rental condominium, completely unlike the south beach vibe and very gracious and accommodating; I would highly recommend this property.
A highlight of my recent trip was several visits to the Sacred Vedic Arts Center, an intimate Hare Krishna inspired spiritual center, with lovely devotees, kirtan, Vedic philosophy programs and Prasadam (blessed food). Try to be attend the Sunday Love feast program at 11am.
I’m sure there is more to see and experience of Miami and I anticipate taking several more trips to do so

It is expensive.
It is expensive. Miami is not a budget vacation excluding the public transportations . Public transportations in Miami run frequently but they slow down in the weekend. Miami public transportations cost is reasonable specially if you buy the weekly pass. The trolly and metromover are free .

Miami is a wonderfull destination.
Miami is a wonderfull destination. Multicultural ambiance, food, art, culture. Spanish widely spoken. Amazing infrastructure for business and leisure (convention centers, world ranked hotels, beaches, sports). Ideal for couples, children, youth. Great connectivity with international destinations through Miami and nearby airports, cruise ports of call, long distance trains and buses. Ideal weather for all, in particular senior citizens, and children.

Miami is always a great place to visit. Where else do you get sunshine and great vibes? Whenever I go on a cruise, I always make sure to spend at least 1-3 extra days in Miami. Great food, great weather, and always something fun to do.

I lived in Miami for years and I have family there and still visit. We found an amazing Caribbean restaurant nearby: PURO SAZON LATINO, at 22069 S. Dixie Highway. The service and food were great, the plating fantastic. It’s in a shopping plaza but don’t let the locale fool you. GO!

I recently stayed at your hotel for 1 night .
I recently stayed at your hotel for 1 night . While I appreciated the overall quality of my stay, I was surprised to find an additional charge of [$amount] on my bill for two bottles of water.
When I initially checked in, I was under the impression that these bottles of water were complimentary, as there was no indication otherwise. I understand that additional charges can apply for certain amenities, but clear communication is essential to avoid misunderstandings.
I kindly request a review of this charge. If possible, I would appreciate a refund for the water bottles or a clearer explanation of your policy for future reference.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
We stayed in March 2024 as a family (2 adults and 2 children) for 1 week and enjoyed the experience. Comfortable hotel, with good facilities (swimming pool, laundry, hygiene kit, minibar), comfortable room with good beds and spacious bathrooms, standard American buffet breakfast with good options (waffle, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bread, eggs). Hotel very close to Dolphin Mall (5 min by car) and about 30 min from Miami Beach/Airport and Sawgrass Malls. It is on the highway that connects Miami to Orlando and with good services nearby.
Great location, heart of downtown; seconds from Miami Mover station, a 7/11, and CVS, minutes from Bayside Marketplace, about 30 minutes by public transport to Miami Beach!
Amazing lobby restaurant, friendly and cordial staff. Also quite a few good restaurants in the area, from cheap delis, to fancy dining.
Comfy, reclining bed, cool mood lighting system in rooms.
Modern and secure elevator system, requiring your key-card to go up to your room, or the hotel amenities.
We chose Elser Hotel & Residences for the second week of our stay in Miami.
1. The location is great, in the heart of Miami, close drive to Brickell and South Beach. In the center of action too!
2. Facilities are great, brand new, including oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dry, everything you need during a long stay
3. Wi-fi is good
4. The pool area is great to chill the whole day
5. Views from our apartment were amazing
6. Cleaning was on top
It is a smaill, but nice and clean apartment, close to scenic places in Miami area. Perfect for a family with one child. We came 3 hours earlier, which was not a problem at all. The location is close to Little Havana in Miami and close to other interesting area +like South beach, wynwood,.. No breakfast, but our host Michael prepared some coffe, outmeal for the first need. And for the early start in the morning if you want to check as much as possiblle.
Room is clean. Staff are very nice. The ladies in the front desk and in the hall are very nice and helpful.
I don't rental a car, because this location is very convenient. The Metrotrain take you from MIA to government center only cost $2.25, then use free Metromover transfer to 1st street, which is only 200 meters to YVE hotel. You can take Metrobus 120 to south beach which is free, There are lots of restaurants around the hotel.
The location is great. It is near by the most important Malls and comercial Center ( the Palms, Dolphin Mall, Dadeland Mall, Brikell Centre) It is not too far away from the beach or the Miami Zoo and Miami Acuarium. I felt in a safe residential zone. I have stayed in 5 stars Hotel in Miami and the confort of this apartment is superior. The pillows were awesome… I suffer from neck problems and I slept like a baby.
A good location has all the basic necessities of a hotel room and the interior decor is very historical from the early 20th century. They go as far as having on display old photographs and newspaper articles of the Miami-Dade and Cora Gables areas from many decades ago which is cool to look at. Is also a 15-minute drive away from Miami International Airport and a 20-minute drive to downtown Miami.
Melissa the receptionist was awesome
The location was 15/20 mins away from south beach great views on the way there!
The pool has a bar
The rooms with balcony are the best spacious balcony!
Car rental inside hotel
Beware Uber and lyft don’t like to pick up from this hotel on Friday Saturday maybe Sundays we had to cancel and redo a ride 4/5 times no pick ups
It was very pleasant and comfortable. Staffs are very kind and accommodating. 24hour shuttle was very convenient I was able to travel to South beach through airport (and metro bus) a few times while I was here. There are no shops around but you can take 6-7 dollar Lyft to nearby Starbucks & supermarket with no problem. Overall, I really enjoyed staying.
The bed was very comfy and the sheets were soft. The soap and body lotion smelt nice. I was glad to have a coffee machine in the room. The airport shuttle took the hassle out of organising transport. The location was close to the airport, so good for a layover, but we also took an Uber to South Beach for dinner, which was 30mins away and cost $20.
Beautiful lobby and room. Friendly and professional staff. This hotel gives luxury at a great price point. Was able to do early check in and got a complimentary upgrade. Not too far from downtown and they provide shuttle to airport. 10/10 experience. Will definitely be staying again on my next visit to Miami.
Hotel was near airport that was a plus..staff very friendly...the room was smelly and the furniture old..no restaurant on site as on website..the place was just dirty and needs refurbishment..sorry I couldn't give lower than zero...I had to ask a member of staff if this hotel was really in Miami...disgusting.
The location was good as we were able to get to all of our destinations in south beach and other areas in Miami in under 25 minutes. The bed and pillows were comfortable to sleep on. The pool appeared to be clean. Friendly staff. There was a parking lot.
Hotel is quite well located ( we had a car) for those driving and just a short ride to Miami Beach/ Biscayne Bay. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable, reception staff were friendly and it a good base for guests using the hotel as base only.
Location worked for us. Near to airport and easy to drive to South Beach and various areas of interest in Miami. Room was very big and spacious. Breakfast was very good although it felt bad to use plastic disposable plates and cutlery.
- small but nice roof top pool
- small, clean and modern room
- nice view towards the arena of the Miami Heat
- ok breakfast
- good location near Downtown and south beach (uber, bus)
