Our stay included tickets to the zoo plus a private tour of the animal sanctuary, and we paid extra for a private night time tour of the zoo. Also, our room looked directly onto kangaroos! Highly recommend!

Despite of a couple of minor issues with my original room and then some paint smells on the floor I was moved to these became inconsequential because of the incredible care and respect of the staff. They handled my complaints with the utmost concern and their attention to me during the 3 nights I was there was amazing. There is no other hotel chain in the world that maintains such a high standard of customer care.

Flack Studio decor makes the whole place feel special. Food at Loam was great for dinner; breakfast was lovely but didn't always taste as good as it looked. The rooms were great, very liveable. Location is a very convenient walk to Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, and CBD. We liked having the choice between the cafe and Loam in the morning, especially when we were in a hurry. Rooms were extremely quiet, especially for a "trendy" hotel and the Ace brand.

This is one of the top ten zoos in the world and we have been to over a hundred. You will be glad to go and ride the cable car to see the many, many animals. It is first rate in every way. We have it sixth in our list of great zoos.

Beautiful location, great ferry trip from Curcular Quay.
Beautiful location, great ferry trip from Curcular Quay.
The free flight bird show is stunning.
Found it a bit crowded space wise and animal habitats quite small.
Sydney Zoo out in the suburbs of Bungaribee offered more space for humans and animals.

Not worth the time or money.
Not worth the time or money. Many works going on and so exhibits closed. Hard to see the animals in the ones that were open. Animals didnt seem content/happy either. Barely saw any staff around.

I have been in Taronga zoo before, and visited it again with wife. It needs to be more convenient regarding the places of the animals because we were lost and confused even though we had the Tsonga zoo map.

A really wonderful Zoo to visit.
A really wonderful Zoo to visit. Worth getting the Ferry over to the Zoo as you geet to enjoy Sydney Harbour as well. When you get to the TAronga Park Zoo wharf, it nmakes for a good photo opportunity to see Sydney city from the north east of the city. You can also get buses from the city to the Zoo but takes too long. Plenty of parking at the Zoo.
