We loved our stay at The Mad Hatter! The staff were such good people, the food was amazing and we loved the history of the place and how much character and soul the place had.

The breakfast was incredible. Everything fresh. Even the croissants were soooo goood. And all the food in general was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect. Staff is excellent. Hotel is very clean. We felt as if we were at home. We can stay again.

The staff truly made all the difference. Every one of them was helpful, cheerful, and welcoming — not a single grumpy face, even though we probably had more than our share of requests 😄 We were celebrating my wife's birthday and decided to go for the birthday package they offered — and wow, did they deliver. For just £68, we got a beautifully arranged setup in our room with a cake, a birthday banner, a bottle of prosecco, and a helium balloon. A very fair price, if you ask me. But here’s the twist: in addition to what we paid for, they also surprised us with a room upgrade. It left us — especially my wife — feeling genuinely appreciated and cared for. We’ll definitely be coming back to this place the next time we’re in London.

I had a great stay here! The room was basic but clean, comfortable, and offered really good value for money—especially considering how expensive central London usually is. The location is absolutely brilliant. It’s just a short walk to the subway and Victoria Station, and also close to Borough Market and Southwark. The staff were a real highlight—super friendly, very helpful, and available 24/7. Overall, a solid, affordable option in a great location. Would definitely stay again!

Great place, and it is the best place which I have ever stayed

Location, very kind & welcoming staff, creativity, resourcefulness (my tiny room had all the key amenities - the fridge, iron, hair dryer…) and even apple & orange, as welcoming fruits!

I had a great experience staying at your hotel. Saved hours of commuting and got well rested for my meetings the next day. Room and shared facilities clean and convenient. Excellent accessibility via Tube and Buses to the City.

Really friendly and professional check in staff, super stylish and very comfortable interiors, absolutely excellent location. I did get a really good price on Booking.com so don’t know whether I can usually afford the hotel, but it is definitely worth the money if you can.

We visited London for the Iron Maiden show at London Stadium and we chose Holiday Inn Express Southwark by IHG for our stay. Everything was great. Best location in London.

Overall good place and a typical Hilton standard. Very nice - attentive staff, very clean rooms, good breakfast. The option for the extra bed were all just perfect and practical for.
