Really nice upscale hotel. This place feels 5 star and the staff provides that level of service. Room was very large and not even the largest king they have. Housecleaning daily and top notch. I personally love the dark decor it has a level of sophisticated charm and privacy much like some European hotels I’ve been in. Nice bar and restaurant. Friendly staff . I would absolutely only stay here if I come back to Glasgow

The room was clean and large with nice view. The bed is comfortable and large size. Fridge, large tv and iron was available. Bathroom clean with small bathtub. The dining area has an amazing view facing the science centre and BBC building across the river the breakfast was open buffet with basic Scottish breakfast items. Vegetarian options are available upon request. The swimming pool was small but clean and the spa was amazingly comforting. The staff were nice and helping despite being busy. All in all was good experience. Highly recommend.

I normally only post positive reviews. The staff were superb, sorting seating out in lobby for late drink (Gareth) which was just very kind but breakfast Thai morning was disappointing. Great staff but not enough staff resulting in a que for brekkie, items on Buffet brekkie not refreshed etc.

This traditional family-run hotel is 2625 feet from the SECC and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It has free Wi-Fi, free limited parking, good-value food and rooms each with a private bathroom.
