The breakfast was exceptional. We loved the spaghetti carbonara we ordered at the evening. It was delicious, and very reasonable price. The closest recommended supermarket is Carrefour Tor Vergata, which is reachable by using Uber. The hotel let me store 4 of my luggages for 4 days after my stay for free, which was really helpful for my short trip to Lourdes. It's also close to the Ciampino Airport.

Appia Antica

The Appian Way might have been Europe’s first superhighway—stretching east over 400 miles—but today it feels more like a day at the park. The first ten miles have been transformed into exactly that, where you can enjoy an afternoon of walking, sitting in cafes, and admiring ancient monuments. Don't forget to explore the two catacombs hidden under the route!

We hired bikes and had the most spectacular day riding along the Appia Antica. It’s a bit bumpy in parts, at times I had to dismount and just walk, but over all very easy riding and SO AMAZING! We spent 4 hours, which included lunch at a lovely little cafe. The day before we visited the Catacombs - wow!

Rent electronic bikes from Ecobike right at the start of the Appian way. Enjoy a wonderful bike ride through ancient monuments and homes, enjoy the goat herds you might happen upon and the romance with your favorite person :)
