Staff were super friendly, specially with our 1.5 year old daughter which ment a lot to us. They shared many tips and hints about the area and sites nearby to visit. They even prepared train schedules to help us make the best out of our short visit. The hotel restaurant is just amazing. Food was tasty and we even regretted going to another restaurant once . It has a beautiful view and cute decorations with funny pasta lamps :) it was just perfect. Breakfast was also nice with fresh fruits, nice coffee, cake, Bacon and eggs and everything you need.

I booked this hotel for a brief stop over near Naples that was close to the airport but offered a safe place to stay and park after a drive from Puglia. I was traveling with my sister and two teens so it was important for me to have a place I could park our rental car over night. A lovely breakfast was included in a panoramic restaurant that overlooks Sorrento and Capri. I chose this hotel also because I needed three separate sleeping areas for us to each be able to sleep before the journey home. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is a few minutes walk to a port and steps from gelateria - yet if you simply wanted to stay in the hotel you can also have dinner onsite. Even in advance of my stay, the staff was warm and helpful. Every need we had for extra pillows and blankets was swiftly responded to. They also helped us to connect with a taxi driver to bring us back and forth to the airport.

Superb! Perfect in every single detail. Property itself is very new and super well maintained. Common areas present esplêndido decoration, very good taste. Rooms are amazing, super comfy bed, decoration, lighting, etc, everything upscale and very fancy. We got a room on the ground floor with a super patio with nice chairs for an afternoon drink. Staff at the hotel is something apart. I’ve never seen such nice, courteous, helpful people. They are always concerned about your well being and ready to do the needful to make your stay as good as possible. Special thanks to the front desk staff, Mr Danielle, Mr Luigi, Ms Giusy and Ms Sara. I had some issues with the rented car, Mr Danielle went above and beyond to try and help me fixing that. Also, we were wondering whether to drive to Sorrento and then take the ferry to Capri, but Ms Giusy and Ms Sara were sharp on the advice, we should go by train and the hotel takes you to the nearest station on their Mercedez SUV shuttle free of charge. Amazing advice! Breakfast is also superb, super fresh produce, local stuff, simply amazing. Pool area is very beautiful and the gym with 2 treadmills, 1 bike and some dumb-bells, really nice and new equipment. To make a long story short. we couldn’t have been so lucky on choosing this property. Thank you all! Highly recommend it!

Yes go and explore : So interesting !

Yes go and explore : So interesting ! A thing (or more) to observe and understand in every houses concerning life of ancient time, lava devastation or architecture. 3 hours are quite good to go all-around. An audio guide gives you many great informations. Take your botte of water, it might be very hot in summer but you'll find plenty spaces of shade in houses or under some shelter of the streets.

More acceptable for older travellers who might be...

More acceptable for older travellers who might be overwhelmed by the scale of pompei, and really, how many old ruins can one digest in a trip before they all merge into one? I know some tour operators will offer you ercolano, pompei and vesuvius in one day. Not recommended ! At least a day for each I think . Take plenty of WATER and food with you or a loaded up credit card !! . ARE YOU A TOURIST OR A CASH COW asking to be plundered?

This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover.

This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover. If you are into Roman history, dedicate 3 hours to see the place. We took an audio guide and it was a good experience. I would still suggest to go with a guided tour as they do it faster and cover the important places.

Very clean, comfortable an recently renovated apartment in Ercolano. Ideal location to visit Naples, Ercolano ruins, Pompeii and Vesuvius. Train station is right next to the apartment. Didn't get to meet the owners, but instructions to enter the apartment were clear and communication was good.

My favorite stay during this trip to Italy. The house is well kept, clean and the view from the garden is wonderful. I loved the cats being around, they were friendly and it felt like home. Carmela and Francesco were very nice and helpful. Don't miss the Ercolano ruins which are in better condition than Pompei
