We had a pleasent stay. There are 2 small markets and few restaurants nearby. Lajatico is great starting point to visit Voltera, Pisa and some other small towns in the region (we also visited Siena and San Gimignano). The accomodation was very clean and spacy. If you plan to cook larger meals then the kitchen is maybe under-equipt (we didn't, we only ate breakfast so it didn't bother us that much). The host was very helpful with recommendations and also suggested a place to buy homemade pasta and organised a simple olive oil tasting for us.

The setting is idyllic with the most beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan hills. The apartment was clean, well equipped and rustic in the right way and we loved how every apartment has its own little gazebo to eat at. The town is perfectly located for visiting places like Lucca, San Gimignano and Volterra, all of which were stunning and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was really great having free laundry facilities to use too.

The breathtaking views and exceptional staff were by far what made our stay excellent. The servers worked so hard to accommodate everyone’s wishes. The special gatherings and pizza night were so much fun. They had a DJ for some entertainment and every one, of all ages, was dancing. It had such a family feel. The food and wine were delicious and very authentic.

Great location in a very small village. Everything you need is right in front of the place (butcher, grocer, pharmacy) and even parking is very close. The place is enchanting and beautifully decorated. Very easy to access the building and flat is on the first floor so no stairs! The kitchen was well equipped and they even had coffee and olive oil and soap for dishes. Wifi was strong and reliable. A very good stay and would recommend highly!

This apartment is fabulous. It is spotless. Everything is of good quality. The host is very nice and very accommodating. Highly recommend this place. For a few more bucks you can have the whole apartment for you vs. a cramped hotel room.
