Close to the Kyoto train station, mall & nearby convenience store. Our room was clean, comfortable, the elevators were adequate, preventing unnecessary queue during peak hours

We stayed on the 11th floor. It was quiet. 15th floor had ample restaurants and lots of stores in the basement of the hotel. Not to mention the ease of traveling by train from the hotel. We loved the amenities. We loved the food in the many restaurants.

Very nice, clean and spacious. Awesome facilities and the SPA is just great to end the day. Location is extremely convenient and is a great hotel.

Amenities are better than other hotels that the guest can choose by themselves. This time in Kyoto, our family was upgraded to the better room type because we have a small kid.

Big rooms and professional staff

Super close to Kyoto Station which made it fantastic to getting around. Staff was amazing and even though we arrived early, they held out luggage for us and even brought it up to our room.

Our family of five (two adults and three children aged 14, 12, and 8) had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto. The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the location. Being directly opposite Kyoto Station made everything incredibly convenient. Whether using trains, buses, taxis, or even ordering an Uber, transportation was effortless. It is truly one of the best locations for families visiting Kyoto. The staff deserve special recognition. Everyone we interacted with, especially the reception team on the second floor, was exceptionally courteous, welcoming, and professional. Check-in was smooth, and throughout our stay they were always happy to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The reception area is spotless, organized, and efficient. Two elevators meant we never had to wait long. We were assigned Room 604, which offered a magnificent view overlooking Kyoto Station. Watching the trains and the city from our room was a memorable experience for both us and our children. The room was thoughtfully arranged for a family. Three comfortable beds easily accommodated all five of us—my wife and I shared one bed, our 8-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son comfortably shared another, while our 14-year-old son had his own bed. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was spotless, and housekeeping maintained a high standard throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent. The room included a refrigerator, television, plenty of power sockets conveniently located beside the beds and around the room, and separate slippers for indoor use and the washroom, which was a thoughtful touch. After our first night, we requested housekeeping, and the cleaning staff did an outstanding job. The room was refreshed perfectly, the bathroom was cleaned thoroughly, toiletries were replenished, the body wash dispenser was completely refilled, and fresh toothbrushes were provided. Everything was restored to an excellent standard.

The size of the room, cleanliness and peacefulness of the whole place

Staff were very helpful, room was very comfortable, On-Demand TV was free when I stayed.

They offer a discount coupon of Kyoto tower, which has amazing view of Kyoto city. Five to ten minutes walk from Kyoto station, making it convenient to connect to anywhere with JR, subway, and even Shinkansen.

The room was spacious, and the hotel had great amenities. The best part was the staff! Everyone was incredibly warm and helpful, and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and felt welcome.

The bath, the location, the price

Stayed a total of 6 day. Easy access from Kyoto JR station when you arrive with bulky luggage. Easy Check in. Super friendly staff. They also helped me to send my bully luggage to my next hotel locations. Prime location with easy transport access in all directions.

This was about as good as you get - we had 5 nights, and used this as a base, right across from the station. Staying on the Hachijo side was great and we had everyting we needed within a short distance. We used this hotel as a base to do day trips, including Osaka and Nara - easily achievable. The room was fantastic - rooms in Japan are small, but this was laid out smartly and we had everything we needed - we got a room overlooking the Tracks and the Avanti Shopping complex - perfect. All tourist sites are accessible from here

Very good for a family of 4, very decent space

It was a great experience to take off your shoes and enter the hotel. Everywhere was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast had a wide variety. The onsen at the hotel was very good. The location was also very good, five minutes walk from Kyoto central train station. We enjoyed everything, we are glad we chose this place.
