The staff was excellent. I have never experienced better service at a hotel. The food was incredible. The beds were comfortable and the river behind our room provided a soothing white noise.

Hotel is very old but room was big and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. Staff was polite and helpful. Satisfactory breakfast.

Wow! Such a beautiful room, amazing food and hospitality, unique nature, cool Onsen hot spring - the village of Ohara where Ryoso Chatani is located was a real dream, especially in Sakura (spring with cherry blossoms)

Lunch and breakfast arr extraordinary. Easily accessible from the bus station walking through the village. Room was nice and traditionnal and the onsen were spectacular !
