Hotels near Vilamoura Marina, Albufeira

This hotel is truly the lap of luxury. Decor of the hotel is really top notch. I don’t know how they do it, but there is the same subtle, beautiful fragrance in the corridors all the time. everything is spotless. The rooms are just perfect, we stayed in a sea view room on the 4th floor, it really was impressive. We stayed for a few days early September. if you are looking for a quiet , relaxing break in a beautiful hotel, this is it. The breakfast was really nice each day, lots of fresh fruit and a buffet with chef making omelettes to order. The beach is right in front of the hotel and we walked in either direction for up to an hour each day. The Lima restaurant in the hotel is really nice too and you have to book. Just outside the hotel , across the road, there is a kind of square, where there are 5/6 bars and another 5/6 restaurants which are all very reasonably priced. Albuffeira and Villamoura are just 15 min away in s taxi. If you’ve not been to this area before , do the cave tour and dolphin trip from the Marina in Albuffeira , it was one of the highlights of our trip, apart from the hotel, The main pool outside the hotel is heated and feels like you are getting into a bath , so relaxing. The sun beds are really comfortable and there are staff there giving out towels to guests when needed. There are a few double sun beds , that look almost like a 4 poster bed and very generous in size. We used these a few times. The main bar of the hotel (blue bar I think) is really comfortable, again big , generous seats everywhere. There was live music (relaxed) here on one of the nights which was great just sitting beside the beautiful water fountain and enjoying a few drinks. All of the staff here are very helpful and wear a smile. 5 stars all the way. Certainly the most beautifully appointed hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The gardens and green areas around the hotel are also quiet vast and extremely well kept and lit.

The hotel was perfect in every way really. The food and breakfast was brilliant. Each night we had a 'turn down service' that I did not expect and was not included in the price. Fresh towels twice a day. Villamoura itself is a little expensive but you pay for what you get. Everything is top class.

Marina view, breakfast selection, coffee shop, and bar were fantastic. Loved it all.

All around just great place to stay especially at winter season prices. We had a 6th floor apartment with ocean view balcony, definitely would book that again and pay a little more. Parking on-site, great breakfast, bar and restaurant in the building and two nice pools. Would recommend for sure.

The hotel was well located near both the marina and the beach. The pool area was lovely. The breakfast was good. Staff members Cesar and Louisa were wonderful.

We loved this place! The Front desk Concierges Daniela and Miguel were so very helpful. MIGUEL booked our Faro airport transportation and DANIELA seamlessly connected our one night Booking.com reservation to the additional 3 nights we booked directly with the hotel so we could stay in the same room. The location is exceptional on a beautiful wide beach. The hotel and grounds are immaculate as are the indoor facilities. There was a piano player, singer and other music in the main areas of the hotel each night. They have great bikes to rent from the very pleasant belllman who gave us tips on biking the area. The breakfast/brunch is extensive and was delicious. The resort has 2 beautiful outdoor adult pools and a fun kids pool and kids club, plus an indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Since the weather was sunny and gorgeous on our trip we didn't use the indoor facility but it looked very clean , nice and well kept. Walk down the beach to the fun village of Vilamoura with many harbor front restaurants and shops. We will look forward to returning to this exceptional resort!
