The suite was amazing and the in-room beakfast was really good. I hope I could have the chance to stay an extra night but I had a flight to catch. I ordered the burger from the restaurant through room service at it was superb. Staff made halloween competition pumpkins was a really fun touch.

    It was wonderful!

    It was wonderful! The first day we were there the line was two hours long to get at ticket and get on the boat. We went back early the next day at 9am and only had to wait a few minutes. It does not help to buy tickets online for this excursion.

    it was fantastic, you will get wet so do not dress fancy, but that is part of it, take a small towel for camera, phone, pad etc you will enjoy, buy your ticket at the gate our tour was a lot dearer and not worth it, you do get a waterproof cagool ?

    This will make your trip.

    This will make your trip. Run toward the bow for maximum views...and drenching. The sound of the falls and the force of the "mist" (quaint little name, that, for the pounding pellets of water!) are magnificent. The line is very long. I wouldn't bet on the 15-minute wait they claim, and only one boat was running on the American side (funny how the Canadians were running multiples with much fewer crowds).

    Arrived at Niagara Park from Akron Ohio, in the afternoon. Did most activities cave of the Wind, Maid of the Mist and walks. Rested up in Wingate, close by. Early Hotel breakfast, then parked in lot 1 and walked to the Canadian side for the day.

    Seeing the falls for the first time. Maid of the mist was a must and can't wait to come back again. This hotel was a great spot away from most crazy traffic most, good places were only 5 minutes and only 10 minutes from the falls. Amazing stay!!

    Amazing location, great view. We had a personal tour, picked us right up at the hotel and it great. We went to Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds and walked around the state park. He was so full of great information!. It was through The Daily Trips. Our guide, Mohammad, was absolutely amazing. I'd go back and do it all over!

What Guests Said About Maid of the Mist:

  • We travelled that day from Michigan, via Ontario, Canada and...

    We travelled that day from Michigan, via Ontario, Canada and got held up at immigration, so we arrived at the Falls at 4.55 pm exactly. All the excursions and spectacles were closed for the day. However, we walked around and explored all the things on offer that allow you to see the falls for free and decided we didn't need any maid of the Mist boat rides or Cave of the Winds. What we did, going up the viewing tower, walking across the bridge to frog island, was just perfect. The time at the falls --2 hours in the late afternoon/evening-- was perfect and cost me nothing. I recommend going late in the day!
