- From $338.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,230 reviewsWe were meant to stay from 7-16 Mar, cyclone hit and we were able to move our bookings to 28 Mar-6 Apr. We had 7 rooms during our stay (5 for 8 nights and 2 for 3 nights), x4 2 bedroom superior apts, x2 2 bedroom apts and x1 bedroom apt We did request and pay for 2 rooms on the ground. Right up until the day before we arrived, reception was not able to confirm our room numbers. If I'd known how far our 2nd room was going to be and how difficult it was going to be for our mum to go up/down the stairs to and from room, we would've asked to move rooms. We checked in quite late to the resort, so by the time we got in our room, unpacked and relaxed after our international flight, we'd already made ourselves comfortable and used the towels, bathrooms etc; when checking in I did keep telling the receptionist that we had our mum but that didn't seem to factor in her allocating the room. It was our fault for staying in the room. She just took her time walking around the resort Our room was very spacious and the arrival pack (eggs, bread, milk etc;) kids activity pack, free drinks/kids club/mini golf vouchers were much appreciated😊 even the road works outside the resort, you couldn't hear any extra noise where our rooms were located. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer. The resort having trolleys for shopping trips was handy to have. Car parking was a breeze and placed well within your room allocation. The gym was used frequently, games room visited by the kids/teenagers and the cinema was a hit with the under 5's The pools were amazing! there was something for everyone in our group (1yo to 60yo) was nice having the spas beside the pools too If something was broken or you needed an extra blanket, reported it to reception/rung house keeping and it was dealt with immediately. A1 service TIP: bring mat/old towel to use as door mat to wipe up wet floors when rainingGuest review byNayNew Zealand

We stayed in the three bedroom unit and had two beds and two baths together, then living space, then master bedroom and ensuite at other end of unit. Could easily accommodate a family plus grandparents or a family plus another couple or small family.Guest review byAshleyNew Zealand

It is a beautiful city, they make the best use of their river! With the ferries etc...great public transport as well...and clean, no graffiti that we saw .... It's a lovely quiet spot compared to a lot of other beaches/locations on the GC. Hire a bike from Kool Bikes in Coolangatta and cycle along the waterfront from Cooly to Currumbin - a great way to spend a couple of hours.Guest review byMaureenNew Zealand - 8.0
Cairns is busy and has a lot going on.
Cairns is busy and has a lot going on. It possibly suits younger people more. If you’re after reef trips or island trips it’s perfect. If you want a less action packed pace you should probably head to Port Douglas.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

To see all the attractions and tourist attractions guests would definately need to consider a hire car. We could not have achieved what we did without a hire car. Dining options in the Palmer Mtreet area are excellent.Guest review byRhondaAustralia - 10.0

Walking distance to everything, easy to get around, plenty of choices for places to eat as well as a great Cole's supermarket. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you want to be. A road trip to Daintree, Cape Tribulation and the Wildlife Discovery Centre is easily done in a day. A boat trip up the Dickson Inlet is a fun and informative thing to do. Snorkelling out on the reef is a must if you have never done it.Guest review byTrishNew Zealand - 6.0

Staff at reception fantastic, room older but clean and nice, only complaint was ppl in room next door either 220 or 222 had tv blaring all night, went in and out of room slamming door over 20 times, went to there car atleast 15 times slamming car doors and boot until I had enough at 4.30am when after no sleep at all I left because it was a disgrace the noise and nothing being done, no phone in room to ask reception to ask them to atleast back it off a bit, but was a complete waste of money as I was so tired and left more tired and $$$ out of pocket and no sleep.Guest review byDuaneAustralia - 10.0
