Came to Jersey specifically to do the round the island coast walk. There was a high degree of diversity with commercial and residential buildings mainly in the south and east, vast beaches and quiet coast road in West and rugged roller coaster type paths and secluded beaches in the North which can rival the Lake District for altitude gained and lost in a single day. Lots of coastal turrets and guns around the coast pointing to Jersey's occupied past. Didn't really do the usual tourist stuff like the War Tunnel and Durrell wildlife park, but there will be a next time perhaps shared with the other Channel Islands next time. Overall well worth the trip. Buses seem to have a flat fare of £2 to go anywhere in the island.
The people are so friendly, the place is clean & there was much more to see than I realised. There are so many historical landmarks to visit around the island. I spent a week in Jersey & I'll be back to visit the Channel Islands again soon.
This is the more laid back of the two larger Channel Islands and worth whatever time you can give it. St Peter Port is the hub and quite manageable. The bus system should become your best friend, as for £1 you can see anywhere on the Island.
Stayed twice in the week as we were travelling around Channel Islands. Location only a few minutes to harbour ferries, on edge of shopping district and with easy access to local transport. Reception staff were excellent and well informed. Catering staff excellent for both evening meal and breakfast. Hot breakfast was cooked to order. Both rooms we used had views over roof tops to harbour. ( May not always be the case.)
Brilliant location, excellent facilities, fantastic breakfast , nothing too much trouble an excellent place to stay, and will definitely be going back
Great location , staff very helpful and accommodating
this was a great choice with a comfortable clean room. Quiet and a great location to all transport.
Breakfast was excellent. Room had balcony overlooking the grounds. Ideally situated for main town. Can walk in 25 minutes. Spa good. Exercise classes available.
Location is a few yards from the beach, the most beautiful sunset ever! Many rooms open up onto the beach, just amazing view.
Victoria, the lady who checked us in was so lovely! I had rang the hotel on the Saturday before to pay for some drinks I wanted to have put in our room before our arrival for my husbands birthday and she went above and beyond. Alongside the drinks she also had a card wishing my husband a happy birthday and a box of Jersey fudge which he loved!!
Straight onto the beach! A third the price of the other 4 star hotels on St. Brelades Bay, the only difference being no pool, the bedrooms being of an equal standing. Highly recommend.!!
Breakfast very good & location excellent. Many restaurants in the area.
The situation is perfect, right on the lovely St Brélade’s Bay, but it is the welcome of the staff which my daughter Emily really appreciated. If you have to stay in your room, you can’t ask for friendlier faces than that of Alen and his colleagues. Room service & food were excellent. Quarantine really isn’t so bad!
Staff were exceptional I will definitely be back
break fast , was very exceptional, the staff was at a very high standard of putting their customers first.they always arranged a good place for us to seat since we where family of 6 , 2 adults and 4kids. a big table will be arranged for us upon reques so we can all seat together and enjoy our exceptional breakfast as a family. Not forgetting my fellow brothers from Kenya who worked so hard to meet our requirements and ket the place running smoothless, with the calmness and alway wore beautiful smiles on their miss. Despite that I am not from Kenya but they made me feel at home .Thank you my African people keep it up with your good work. Rooms were very clean , and the roome service staff always asked if we wanted our room to be cleaned each day , they were avilable 24/ 7 and offerd us that when we need anything our room cleaned we should contact they will be available, 'I felt this was a high standard of practise and to get the service upon our request, they were prepared to deliever. Thank you Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa.Location was excellent near all the amneties , city , restuarant was up to a walking distance 7 to 12 mins to wall to town, Museum ,Aqua Splash, Arcade , the public transport is withing a minute walk to the bus stop .There is a bus 15 from the Airport towards to the Hotel bus stop right acrross to the the hotel .
