This was my first experience staying in a hostel and dorm-style accommodation, and I honestly can't say enough positive things about my stay at Hi Chicago Hostel! Everything exceeded my expectations. The hostel was clean, felt safe, and provided a variety of engaging activities such as morning yoga sessions, sightseeing tours, and more, far beyond what you'd typically expect from hostel accommodations. The location is also a huge plus. Highly recommend staying here!

Loved the convenience of the location. Sometimes I need to be close to work for large engagements, this is a great go to when I need to stay in the city.

The hotel is as beautiful inside as it is outside. The wood paneling, carved arches and alcove overhangs, and the lead glass windows are spectacular. There are fireplaces with inglenooks, Persian rugs on the floor, and window seats along the windows in the lobby. Our kingsize bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having a couch. two settees, and a chaise lounge.The huge bathroom was appreciated as were the slippers provided. Watching the snow storm from the cosy inside was a real treat.

I loved this location! It was in the center of downtown and was walking distance to the restaurants and shopping areas in Magnificent Mile. The rooms were renovated and it was so convenient to have a kitchen and laundry in the apartment. Will definitely stay again!

The furnishings and amenities in our unit were in good condition and stylish; the kitchen was stocked with high quality utensils and kitchen tools. Supplies such as detergent, garbage bags, and the like were also provided. The personal care items (shampoo/conditioner; body wash) are fantastic; looking for it to purchaise for home. Especially appreciated was the kettle IN ADDITION to the coffee maker; there is nothing worse than having to use a coffee machine to brew a cup of tea. Harney & Sons tea is a lovely touch too. The unit had a great view and light in both living spaces; bedroom and sitting room. we had an issue with the computer keypad on the door and it was fixed right away. Management was very accommodating with our fluctuating schedule and provided a personalized experience, which was a pleasant surprise, considering the business leans toward a contactless and automated model without a lobby at the property; which we prefer. We will choose LIVN for our travel accommodations whenever possible!

Beverly at the front desk was amazing in the morning. Also the wonderful guy who checked us in was super delightful. Miles at the bar was so much fun and very knowledgeable. Thanks!

Very basic, reasonably priced, quiet rooms with comfortable beds perfectly located in the Loop. All you could ask for on a stopover in Chicago. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was very good.

Great location, we were able to move in the downtown so easily. There is a subway station near and the neighborhood was pretty.

The hotel looks very stylish, all rooms are very clean and have a lot of interesting art stuff and books.

The hotel's location is great — you can pretty much walk anywhere from there, and there are lots of bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. The staff was very friendly and polite. If you're visiting in the spring or summer, you can borrow one of the hotel's bikes and ride around Chicago. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The toiletries smelled amazing. I didn't use the gym and saw that the pool was closed, so if you're interested in using the facilities, it's best to check in advance to see what's open

The location is amazing. I really enjoyed having breakfast at the adjoining restaurant Land & Lake every morning. The service was impeccable and we felt really taken care of. The hotel is beautiful and clean and was a wonderful home for a few days.
