Incredibly charming room. Really well put together, amazing tiny book selection in case you didn't take your own reading. Staff friendly and helpful and the hotel is jam packed with traditional character while being well appointed and modern.
Located in the heart of Arundel, this grade II listed Victorian building was completely refurbished in May 2012 to combine traditional comforts with the facilities of a modern 4-star hotel.

We got a very small room in the beginning but they moved us a couple of days later to a much larger one. So very accommodating for everything.
The employees were friendly and HAPPY! It made for a delightful stay.
Food was delicious.

The hotel is beautiful and has a very calm atmosphere. The rooms were the right balance between luxurious and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate all of our needs, including dietary variations to the set menu. We were very impressed by the standard of service throughout the hotel, including the spa.

Very welcoming staff, rooms were clean, spacious and had great amenities. Bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was large and the shower heat and pressure were great. Really loved the dressing room with large mirror in our room. Very efficient check in and check out service.

Since we traveled with luggage by train and on foot, we were extremely thankful for their fantastic location. The beautiful town was just a short walk away.

Arundel is a lovely quiant town, it has an impressive castle & cathedral. It has lots of bars, restaurants & boutique shops. It is small enough to walk around but has plenty to do.
It is in easy reach of Littlehampton, Chichester & Brighton by car.

Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes.
Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes. The best breakfast is at The Moathouse just across the bridge. You can walk along Mill Lane to visit Swanbourne Lake, which is free, or the Wildfowl & Wetlands centre. That is free for WWT members but well worth the entry fee if not. A bit further on is The Black Rabbit pub, where you can have a great meal by the river.

Arundel is a really quaint place with a good selection of small shops, pubs and eateries. Juniper's coffee shop & bakery is a must visit. The cinnamon buns are to die for. The Italian restaurant La Campania we highly recommend and the Norfolk Arms a great place to relax and chill. The local architecture and the walk along pass the museum and to the wet land centre really interesting & lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Arundel is a beautiful and very charming village with lots to see and do. A visit to the castle is a must as is a wandrr through the quaint shops in the main stteet (and off to the side). The food on offer in the restaurants was fabulous. We had dinner at The Swan The Parson's Table and the Black Rabbit.
Arundel is a great place to do a walk through the South Downs.

The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept"...
The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept" birds and wild native ones. I prefer wild ones and the woodland and reed walks were good with some hides not under repair though the wild birds did not turn up in quantities nor with abundant variety of species.
The castle is fascinating ( a golf buggy will save a lot of uphill walking if used). The medieval "palace" was knocked down in the Commonwealth regime and only rebuilt in phases over the 197th and Twentieth centuries ( the gardens were opened after 2000). The Keep remains and is sufficiently whole to allow one to envisage the ancient reality. The Fitzalan Chapel in the grounds is definitely a place to visit. Nearly 20 generations of Fitzalan and Howard leaders are buried and remembered in the chapel providing much light onto English history.
The town is mall and old and worth a walk round.
Great location near hwy, and walk to Swan Pub for great dinner, and to castle entrance.
Clean, comfy, cozy, quiet, charming, friendly, homey, welcoming.
Fabulous breakfast.
Safe adjacent parking to be also used for visit to Castle where any kind if PARKING is a nightmare.
Friendly host.
Nice other guests.
Easy to locate.
Tea/coffee etc in room.
Great hot water.
One flight of stairs very easy and minimal.
Attention to detail. Very professional.
My stay was really comfortable. and my room was beautiful, elegant and cosy. I slept really well, and I wish I had arranged to stay for more than one night as this hotel is perfectly placed for all the main attractions in the Arundel. Breakfast was also really tasty and filling. This is a gem of hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable and all the staff I met were lovely. I was made to feel so welcome, and I will definitely return.
Delicious breakfast; very comfortable rooms; privacy as there is a separate entrance to the B&B with interconnecting door to the main house; proximity to Arundel and very friendly and helpful hostess, Alison. I stupidly left some items in the wardrobe and Alison texted to ask if we were still nearby and, if not, offered to parcel post them to me.
The location was ideal for Goodwood Revival and there were several restaurants nearby for dinner. La Campania was excellent. The Black Rabbit, The Swan Hotel and the Chinese restaurant were average.
The kitchen was well equipped, but we had no need to use it except for morning tea as we were out all day every day.
Excellent location, great room with large comfy bed, on-site parking (reserve in advance). Lucie and Iain (the owners) were very friendly and cooked a great breakfast. Excellent value for money and more of hotel quality than a B&B, highly recommended and will certainly stay there again if going to Arundel.
House Arundel is a gem of a place to stay in - clean, comfortable rooms and a beautifully decorated property. We love the relaxed lounge area downstairs that guests can use. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great hotel.
I stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and it was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The Hotel is located in the centre ofArundel and is perfect base to explore the wounders of Arundel and the surrounding area.
Very limited options. Not hard to do vegan bacon or sausage now or an avocado or banana. Better to not pay for breakfast and pop to McDonald’s behind the hotel. Bar and dinning area were soulless and uncomfortable.
location good for my visit to Brighton, bonus was that the Arundel village was lovely!
slightly pricey for this type of hotel but guess it’s peak time.
clean and easy process after a long drive.
location was excellent, right in the heart of Arundel.
Arundel castle is a great attraction and you can walk there in minutes. There are quaint shops and cafes on your door step.
The location was great, close to all Arundel attractions. The hotel restaurant was lovely. Breakfasts were impressive, lots on offer. Used local produce, too.
