We grew up around the area revisited old stomping grounds some things have changed but the super friendly yorkshire folk are still about .we loved the local Indian restaurant had a wonderful curry meal , cream tea at moore farm shop, used the bus to get into town ,went clay pigeon shooting London, alton towers whitby and york ,all easily drivable from doncaster ( caught the train into London) a great stay with all the family .Guest review byLYNNUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Doncaster has a good shopping centre and is surprisingly busy. It is handy to motorways that can take you further afield The Minster is well worth a visit with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. We were at the races its a cracking track with good facilities and attentive staff. The town however leaves a lot to be desired, nothing to recommend it.
