It was clean, comfortable, and good value for the price. We could buy food to cook from the general store; all we needed after a day of cycling. Well done to for great facilities in such salty air!

The location was great. The hotel was old with heaps of atmosphere. My room was large and comfortable. There was a noise that kept me awake most of the night. I thought it was staff cleaning up downstairs after closing, until i realized it was the window moving about in its frame due to the wind. Once i had jammed that with a slipper to stop it from rattling all was good.

    Rottnest is an absolute gem.

Rottnest is an absolute gem. Apart from the quokkas (which are everywhere), the beaches and the water are picture perfect and absolutely pristine. It is so easy to get there from Perth, it would be a crime not to go there.

Loved the scenery and the Quokkas, Only downfall was the emergency door between rooms that allowed you to hear conversations, tv shows and coughing from next door which took away from trying to relax

A great place to relax and recharge, and get some easy walking and cycling in, as well as snorkellng. Different options for coffee, drinks and meals depending on your budget, group (family, friends, groups). Loved the quokkas and the beaches with virtually no one on them.

Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house...

Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house was the best! Mother's day lunch at Frankie's was simply delicious! Amazing pizza and good kids menu: (creamy chicken pasta for my fussy eater was a winner) The Nutella donut at the bakery next to general store was a special treat for the kids and they loved it! Quokkars everywhere. They're super cute and friendly. It's not allowed to touch or feed them thou.

The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful..

The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful.. Rottnest Island must be kept accessible and affordable. There is now a tendency for prices of accommodation going up in Rottnest Island due to some overpriced hotels. The hop-on hop-off buses were very convenient for moving around. The free walking tours by very knowledgeable volunteer guides is well worth it. More visitors should be encouraged to go on the various walking trails.

A short stay can very easily turn into a longer stay once...

A short stay can very easily turn into a longer stay once you see whats on offer at Rottnest. t’s a casual island with many hidden gems worth exploring. You feel relaxed immediately on arrival, so have an open mind as Rottnest is very different from anything you might have experienced. Wherever you go you will enjoy great food often eaten under the shade of beautiful old trees that form part of the restaurants. The beaches are picturesque and very clean with soft sand to sunbathe on and not overcrowded . The water is Chrystal clear and fun to swim and snorkel in. As for the quokkas they are friendly, beautiful little animals you will see whilst walking or riding around the island. All in all , Rottnest is definitely a place worth visiting.

Right from the booking, the whole process was well-managed. We had our luggage delivered from the ferry to the room. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. After the long walks, it was relaxing to come back to the room. A small issue with the remote control was fixed very fast. Wonderful stay in the Wonderful island
