Good location in village centre, close to pub and small supermarket and also cafe and sandwich shop. Beautiful apartment with lots of light and space and a multitude of features and accessories you need when either on a one night stay or for a longer break. Everything you needed from iron to washing up liquid, towels, toileteries, pots, pans etc. Even Iron and board! Bedroom spacious and comfortable with big double bed. Bathroom light and spacious with nice walk in shower. Dining kitchen spacious and everything you need.

Great area and the price was perfect. The room was actually big for a UK hotel. The hotel staff we met were very helpful and nice. I liked the history that is associated with the hotel and the area. Breakfast included was awesome. Great value. We would definitely stay here again. Eat at the Indian place down the street it was awesome.

The staff were amazing, they even had an iron we could use as were were traveling from Cornwall to Scotland for a wedding and the outfits had become creased on route.

Lovely central hotel. Clean and comfortable with that old dated twist.. loved it. Clean spaces rooms with comfy beds. Value for money. Breakfast was beautiful and plenty of it. Staff on shift were all very friendly. Next time we are out again in Carlisle this is the hotel we will use again.
