We could take our wee dog along with us, which was such a bonus. The layout of the unit was fantastic and it had been renovated very thoughtfully with everything you could need/want. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the owners were really lovely. Nice and close to main town centre.

    Great host, cottage was spacious and great price.

    Great host, cottage was spacious and great price. Beds were big and comfy. Kids were able to swim in pool and spa was hot. Just a walk away to town center. Theres a movie theater. We always stay here when we come to Kerikeri.

    Loved the beautiful hanging baskets in the town. The honey cafe was beautiful surrounded by flowers. The whole place was picturesque. The Thai place called Green's was a great place for dinner.

    would have loved to explore the area more. Makana chocolate shop worth a visit alone, but also the markets were great on saturday morning. Seemed a pleasant place, the weather was mild, going back to have another look at some point

    Clean, interesting and loved the shops, cafes and THE BLACK OLIVE restaurant. Friendly people and beautifully maintained town. Excellent walking paths. The 8 km walk from stone cottage to rainbow waterfall was fabulous followed by iced coffee at honey bee cafe.. sensational.

    Everything. This hotel is a must stay if you are in Keri Keri. Set in a beautiful wooded and tropical plant forest setting. It is stunning. You are in another world at the Avalon. Rooms/ cottages are well equipped with a huge bbq on the patio with tables and chairs which enables Al fresco dining. Kitchen with all the cutlery, pots/pans and crockery you might need. A great stay and very comfortable as well as quiet. We will stay again. Kids would love this place too. It also has a self service laundrette.

    My fiancé and I stayed for two nights and we loved the peacefulness, privacy and comfort this glamping site offered. Peter was very kind and accommodating, and we appreciated all that was offered from a clean bathroom to a well-functioning kitchen.     The cottage is gorgeous and sits in a beautiful idyllic and peaceful area away from the centre of town. Tastefully decorated and our hosts were lovely. Such a great place to stay and definitely recommend to other visitors to Kerikeri. Great value for money.
