The hotel is in a great location, close to Place Royale. The continental breakfast was excellent. The parking was very straightforward as you must use a parkade close by. We had to get there near the start of a fireworks show and still had no problem even with all the traffic and scores of people.

    I loved the Old City!

I loved the Old City! So many cute shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops to explore. The views were superb. We took a walking tour of the Old City to get some historical background. There is a lovely hike through the trees that we incorporated into a visit to the Plains of Abraham and the Citadel. The service workers in stores, bars and restaurants were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent restaurant dinner as well as some lovely coffee shop brunches and drinks in a couple of great pubs. Be aware that some restaurants are closed on Mondays.

Walking around the old city, visiting the hotel reading about it's history and an old cathedral in s St. Annes. People are ok. Could be more open We had a great taxi driver. Very friendly and respectful. He picked us up and dropped us of where ever we need to be. There was fireworks the Thursday night.

What a beautiful but crowded city.

What a beautiful but crowded city. Quaint, friendly and great weather in early August. Lots to see and do with superb food and shopping. Most parking is remote from most hotels. Beautiful views from Dufferin Terrace. Hard to go wrong with most dining choices. Tried D’Orsay and enjoyed two dinners there.

Old Montreal was very enjoyable, the sights and places to enjoy a meal. Be very careful when you travel here. We were scammed by two Taxi Drivers. Make sure you asked what the fee is going to be before entering the Taxi. (We usually only have to do this in Mexico, but NOT in CANADA!)

The room was spacious, clean, warm and convenient. We caught the train to Quebec City and it was a 20 minute flat walk to the hotel. It was also near the bus to go out to Montcerency Falls, as well as the old town. There was also a good supermarket one block over which was handy. It was a lovely stay and I would recommend it when visiting Quebec City.

My room was in the former bank and it was a huge apartment. Right in the centre of Quebec old town so a perfect location. Reception was very helpful as they knew all about the tours and you could even book direct with them. The hop on hop off bus gave an excellent way to see all the main sights. The carpark was directly in front of the hotel.
