A very fine establishment. The hotel has remarkably attractive public sitting rooms on the ground floor and a truly lovely indoor pool. The reception staff were outstandingly helpful and flexible, making a huge difference to check-in and checkout arrangements. And the attached restaurant/bar is very good.

Excellent location in St. Peter Port, convenient to the town and the ferries to other islands of Guernsey and to Brittany. Staff were pleasant, breakfast was decent, and the small bar was charming (I didn't try the on-site restaurants). A huge unexpected benefit was the complimentary island tour that the hotel offers on certain days.

Very old world feeling, I loved the narrow streets and alleyways. Loads of independent shops. Lovely and clean. The views from the Harbour are excellent. The waterfront is easy to navigate with plenty of places to eat and drink.

St Peter port was mediocre at best with what were available sights, hotels, shops and restaurants. They also consistently lacked value for money. There were some pretty spots but I would recommend so many better places across Europe with better ports and seaside travels.

St Peter Port is an attractive town with a friendly buzz.

St Peter Port is an attractive town with a friendly buzz. A mixture of English and French culture. Standout attractions are Victor Hugo’s Hautville House and Castle Cornet. Also much emphasis on the liberation from the German occupation in 1945. All in all well worth visiting.

Liked the friendly atmosphere about the town.

Liked the friendly atmosphere about the town. Shopkeepers friendly and helpful. Was very hilly but accessible. Plenty of good restaurants and shops. Recommend Christie’s for lunch and dinner. Good bus service, lots to see. Lovely garden, plenty of history. Plenty going on around the harbour. Took a trip to Herm which was excellent, quiet and peaceful, a haven of tranquility. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting St Peter Port was my first visit but hopefully will visit again.

Last bus out of town is 20:35 midweek and most places shut around 21:00/21:30. It's very much an early to bed early to rise culture. The restaurants and shops away from the harbour front are much cheaper but you don't get the gorgeous views. There is a place called forest stores 20 mins bus from the port it sells all the same tourist tatt/souvenirs you could want along with local wines, beers, ciders meats and cheeses at much less than you'll get fleesed for on the harbour go there instead. My favourite restaurant was a place called Balthazar on the harbour front. I was surprised to find wild swimming and sea bathing pools free to use I recommend it.

Pretty much liked everything about St Peter Port, really good bus service, so much to see in or around the area , very nice Italian (Sorrento), easy to get the ferries across to Herm and Sark which are both worth visiting. So much wartime history to take in as well.

Our room was very comfortable with stunning views over St Peter Port. A lounge in our room, to sit and enjoy the view was very nice. The location to the Port with restaurants, shops, buses and the ferry terminal was excellent, basically a five minutes walk down through the hotels garden. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and one of the best on the island for dinner.
