It's a great central location for a few days on the bike trail. A nice ride down to Custer or up to Rochford. We enjoyed Sunday morning worship at The Little White Church, as well as browsing local shops, and dining in the restaurants. The views and the national parks and forestry was amazing. Definitely worth a family trip to enjoy and explore. There was a lot to see and do and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Roads were much better than I had feared and made access for an early morning trail ride in Custer a breeze to access! Very peaceful place to stay that feels rustic and in nature in the middle of very busy and tourist Black Hills. We really love the Black Hills area and this helps us enjoy being there. Is relatively close to Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, ATV rentals, 1880 Train, riding some of the fantastic gravel Michelson bike trail, etc, which we did all of and more.
