I stayed in this apartment last year and it is truely wonderful, with spectaclar views, across Brixham town and the harbour. It is very well equiped, and extremely clean, with a very homely feel. In January of this year I intended to stay again, but had to cancel due to the weather warning, I was most grateful and impressed with the hosts kind response to the situation. I will be booking this apartment again later in the year.

I love Brixham. I love seafood. I love the harbour.

I love Brixham. I love seafood. I love the harbour. I love the people. But it is difficult to drive round with narrow roads and terrible parking. Having said that, we did park and we did get around. Booking at the popular restaurants is essential. We like sitting in or outside pubs and cafés watching the world go by. Brixham is perfect for that. We loved Breakwater Café, Shoals, Rockfish and Bay Head Hotel plus David's fish and chips. Prices are on the higher side, but the fresh seafood is well worth it.

It was a lovely little town, and we found the locals very friendly and always had time to chat with you. Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from, and also lots of gift shops scattered around the town 🙂

Like the harbour with its numerous bars/restaurants and the boat trip over to Torquay. Listening to the band on a Thursday evening. We enjoyed eating at the Cowshed Restaurant and the obligatory fish and chips at Brixham Fish Restaurant. Not many activities as such, but this suits our age group.

We have been coming to Brixham for many years. Its a beautiful place with lovely, friendly people. Glorious location with gorgeous views and a great choice of restaurants and bars. Thd Old Market House and The New Quay Inn were our particular favourites. This time we stayed at Sampford House in the Junior Suite. Lovely accommodation with wonderful hosts, Matthew and Rosie.

Our favourite place was brixham. We ate out at night for our evening meal at our favourite chippy in brixham and other little areas and the manor inn where we stayed. Brixham is a very hilly little place but very nice little harbour with plenty going on around the harbour.

Brixham is a beautiful working harbour town.

Brixham is a beautiful working harbour town. A variety of shops, places to eat and drink, and if you love walking a great place. Stunning to just sit and look at the town as amazing views if you stay up high. Great walks to Berry Head, St Marys Bay, Churston Cove and farther afield along the South West Coastal path. Or a boat trip along the coast or directly to Torquay. Fresh seafood in the restaurants and would recommend Alberos in town and Shoals at the outdoor pool in particular for great menu choices. Prince William has a spacious outdoor area for food/drinks also in prime position when the sun is shining. The Breakwater Bistro again a great place to eat or you can sit outdoors utilising the takeaway bar, then listen to the waves lap whilst watching the Cormorants and Seal regularly making an appearance.

Lovely friendly welcome from Linda and Joe who made us feel like friends straight away, nothing was too much trouble at all. Our room was immaculate, lovely and modern with everything you could ask for, bath robes were even supplied for the mini spa facilities, they really have thought of everything. The breakfast choices available are the best we’ve ever seen and we weren’t disappointed when it arrived, delicious. An amazing Guest House, would thoroughly recommend Brookside for your next trip to Brixham. We will definitely be back.

Welcoming and beautifully clean (I’m a housekeeper and I notice- I’m a nightmare to take to a hotel 🤣) Great quality bed linen, comfy bed, quiet at night and a restful night’s sleep. Pip was great- he even let me look at his roller press! Lots of great little details like the auto lights on the stairs when we returned from a birthday party at night. Lovely cooked breakfast cheerfully served- tons of choice. wholeheartedly recommend. Carpark and an easy walk to the harbour and a nice mooch around Brixham.

Beautiful views over harbour. Great location as it was near enough to walk to the town and not far from the Berry Head Hotel which we always visit for lunch. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed- glasses, cooking utensils, pans, glass dishes, mugs, kettle, toaster, hairdryer etc. Lovely and cosy and warm too. Home from home! Rob was very welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know about the property. Thanks! We will definitely return.

Exceptional location. Wonderful sea views and a really easy walk into Brixham. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Very nice casual bistro, only had breakfast in the more formal restaurant. I was on my own but was very happy to use the bistrot. I think the hotel is run very professionally but the atmosphere is relaxed and a place you really want to spend time just hanging out. Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights.

Apartment was perfectly situated, modern, spacious and clean with all amenities expected plus. We've been to Brixham 9 times now in different accommodation each time and this ranks as best against pretty strong opposition.
