Ryo was an amazing host. He shuttled us to the mountain every day and was a great help. Although the property is so conveniently close to the train station, my friend and I still managed to almost miss our train to Sapporo… Ryo saved the day and drove us to the train station, carried both of our massive luggage bags up to the ticket booth, and helped us buy tickets just in time!

Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread English proficiency, making communication easy. There are plenty of options for renting or purchasing snowboard gear, which is convenient for enthusiasts. Overall, I will definitely return to Kutchan.

The ingredients and the cooking is first class. The staff is the most welcoming staff we ever met in Japan - and that is something. The open Bath is just great. The water is original onsen water. Relaxing in the rotemburo watching the clouds on Mount Yotei is paramount. The design of the room is a fantastic mixture of Japanese tradition and modern architecture. The room, the equipment, the furniture- all fantastic.

The studio room was perfect for us, with a huge bed and a nice little kitchenette if you want to relax and cook in the hotel one night. Everything in the room was very luxurious and clean.

The owners were extremely nice and communicated everything well. There a bus stop for both directions at the entrance making it very accessible to either town. When I got hurt and had to go to the hospital the grandma at the property who used to be a nurse helped re bandage my ankle after the hospital didn’t do a good job and everyone checked on me every day. Pod rooms are a place to sleep which is all I need. They feel private enough and the other guests were very respectful when there(occasional snorer) Facilities are clean with lockers and laundry, breakfast good. Thier own buses to and from resorts. A public bus right out front to Niseko or Kutchan. Grocery store right next door to save money on food.JJaredUnited States of America

The hotel shuttle to the mountains were awesome, just wish I knew about the one to and from the train before arrival as we caught the local bus, the hotel shuttle would have made it much easier. Overall loved the stay. I will definitely stay at Torifito hotels more often

The toilet is good. Warm toilet seat, adjustable pressure for water spray and even air dryer and air freshener after using the toilet! This was a little bit of late reservation but easy check in, comfortable beds, it has everything you need! Location it is about 7-10 min walk from the station, not bad! Keep in mind it gets harder to walk and drag your luggage in the snow. Definitely would come back!
