It is a magnificent area and Port Douglas is one of the prettiest towns in Australia. It is a very safe, secure area, with both the local inhabitants and tourists very friendly and polite. The number of people from all parts of the world was surprising and refreshing. We are self caterers and there was plenty of sources of quality, tasty foods available.Guest review byGrantAustralia - 10.0

We enjoyed the beautiful parks and gardens, the historic buildings in the city of Toowoomba, the Cobb & Co Museum. We also liked the short drive to Crows Nest National Park with its eucalypt forest and granite boulders. Breakfast at Cafe Valetta was excellent! Happy to recommend Toowoomba as a good holiday destination.Guest review byOdette - 10.0

Lovely paths and signposted plants, all overlooking a pretty lagoon. Must do is the Pacific Whale Foundation Whale trip, totally awesome and they are non profit so all the money goes back into the research of the whales. I prefer the quieter side of Hervey Bay the side we stayed in Torquay was busy but vibrant. Loads of places to eat on the Esplanade. The pier is worth a walk along. Make sure you get to the beach at sunset as it is beautiful to watch.Guest review byLindaHUnited Kingdom
