Clean and confortable with central location. Picked the Station Hotel for dinner and it was nice food (pub style food) and staff welcoming. Do accept small to mdium dogs which was nice (we have one but not on this trip). Outdoor amenities include outdoor kitchen and pool area. Kitchen location wasn't the best and looked like you would need to open it all up for guests rather than being readily available to quests. But it looked really usable. Pool area was less than inviting and looked uncared for. We stayed a night so really good for that. The room had a microwave, electric jug, toaster, crockery & cutlery, tv, table & chairs, a couple of comfy chairs all in all everything you needed. Tiaro is really a stop over town.
Tiaro is really a stop over town. Unfortunately food options are limited especially when we were there at Christmas. All I could get to eat was two crumbed squares of god knows what from the service station. Tiaro has all the facilities needed for travellers. For a beautiful tea, offering steak and fish meals as well as chicken, the local pub was fantastic. Tiaro is a great little stop on the way north from Brisbane.
Tiaro is a great little stop on the way north from Brisbane. The 1881 built Hideaway Hotel is a lovely place to eat with good food. If we had arrived earlier we could have shopped in the Christmas Shoppe.Guest review byAlayneAustralia
