Located in Ventnor and with Ventnor reachable within a 3-minute walk, The Wellington has concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

The central location with a balcony to view the sea. Lovely to look out at night and see the moonlight on the water. The room was serviced each day and free-streaming was available on the TV. The Rex Fine Dining restaurant was just up the road and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there.

    Chale is set on the Southern part of the Island and offers the best of both worlds in terms of the fact that it is a very pretty village, set along the coast. Its location gives easy access to the rest of the Island, the sea views are absolutely stunning.

    We loved the hotel and its location. The only minus is that we were there for the scooter festival and it was a bit further out than we would have liked. That, however , is not the hotels fault at all. If going out and drinking, please note the extortionate taxi fares. The food in the hotel was lovely and the choice at breakfast was very nice.

    Great pub with friendly staff. Superb location on South coast of the Island. Lovely ‘pub-grub’ style food that’s good value for money. They only have a few rooms so lack the kind of facilities you get in a large hotel, but who cares about that when you have one of the best beaches in Britain a short walk away!

    It's been an ok stay. It does the job for one night if you cannot get any other hotels on the island. Good to have food on site as there is absolutely nothing else around the area. They had some arcade games to play and a foosball table. Staff works hard. Great pain au chocolate! Food was decent for a pub.

    We really liked the staff. They were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help. We liked coming down to a fabulous breakfast in nice surroundings.. Also our large room was great with a big wall mounted tv. We had a view to Chale Bay; the sunsets were brilliant.

    Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Room was large with good facilities. Location was peaceful and the restaurant/bar/pub garden was a really nice addition to our stay. There is also a beautiful cliffside walk behind the hotel where you can watch the sunset.

    Room was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great view over the front of the hotel grounds and towards the coast. Food was delicious and service was cheerful and efficient.
