The room exceeded my expectations. Very clean and smartly decorated. Large and very clean bathroom. There was a microwave on the landing to heat up my dinner (which was unexpected). Plenty of free parking. It's out on a limb, but only a short drive from Guisborough, which has all you need.

Good location, was able to park immediately outside the property, the owners kindly registered my car for resident parking for the duration of my stay. House is nicely decorated, has a big kitchen and usefully has a downstairs toilet. The property also has netflix, dishwasher and washer. In the attic room is a cool use of space - a games loft with Nintendo Switch and games.
Wifi is good the property was nice and warm on arrival.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and just what we needed for an overnight stay.
The breakfast was delicious and very filling with unlimited toast, tea and coffee. They even brought a sausage out for the dog.
Love the fact that they welcome dogs and they can come to breakfast with us
Would definitely stay again

Guisborough is a handy base for exploring the ocast and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It has a mix of traditional old pubs and modern new pop up bars which we liked. We had an electric car and used the central charge points in the main car park park.

I am from Guisborough.
I am from Guisborough. Its a place like a lot of places, it has a lot of closed down shops. But a lot of nice shops and cafes. The hills are close by. Although I would not live there again, I enjoy visiting family and friends. I like shopping there. Good pubs. The buses had changed. Not as good as they were, but I travelled on them OK.

This country town has several good pubs, some nice shops and easy access to the coast. We didn’t really spend much time in the town but it has some interesting buildings including the remains of the Priory.
Make sure you get a visit to Saltburn and staithes.

An historic building in grand surroundings with easy travelling distance to North York Moors and Whitby.
The quality of the furnishings and ambience are very relaxing. The helpfulness of the staff. People who cannot walk far should request a room close to a lift and not too far from the main building. Short people should not have rooms with velux windows as very difficult to reach.
Lovely spacey clean house, Guisborough town is lovely, a nice market town, it was easy to drive to the coast, Whitby, Redcar, Runswick Bay. The utility room by the front door was very handy to take off and dry our walking gear, the north Yorkshire Moors is a beautiful place to walk.
I had to do some work on my laptop, Wi Fi good, the tall lamp over the table while working in the evening was useful.
The place was very peaceful, beds comfortable, had everything we needed, suited us very well.
Will be coming back
Good location, cheap parking. The rooms are clean and the property looks recently refurbished. It's central to Guisborough High Street but not noisy at all. There's a small cafe selling good food and coffee about 30 metres from the property. There's also good selection of pubs/micropubs/restaurants within a very short walk of the property.
Bathroom and kitchen are particularly nice and the milk/coffee/shower gel were appreciated. Towels were included. WiFi is provided and is pretty fast.
Booked this for a couple of nights last minute without checking it out thoroughly, was very pleasantly surprised!
Just a terraced house on an ordinary street in Guisborough which has been very nicely fitted out indeed.
Lovely décor, Everything you could possibly need, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Easy parking on street, a short walk to the shops and restaurants, quiet at night.
Can't recommend this place highly enough!
Everything!!!! Absolutely beautiful cottage and dog friendly too. Excellent value for money.
Best area for day trips, Guisborough was a lovely town to walk around.
Loved hearing the church bells too. The quality of the cottage was of a very high standard..would definitely recommend 96 Roseberry cottage!!
A beautiful hotel with an open fire, lovely staff and a wonderful setting. My room was a great size, fantastic bathroom with bath, shower and great lighting, double sink, the food in the restaurant (we used the grill) was absolutely delicious. Everything about this stay made it a wonderful visit.

Comfortable room, very clean. Lovely sitting area outside hotel and weather a bonus. Staff very friendly, food was good, breakfast menu also good. Plenty of spacious areas in the hotel to sit for drink, relax etc. everyone able to keep distance re Covid precautions.
Clean, well furnished and spacious property - more like a small house than cottage. Good facilities and well located in Guisborough town centre. Owners very helpful. Was able to safely and securely store my bike.
Location was spot on, very central and convenient. Couldn’t hear any noise from outside so even better. Absolutely fantastic beds and best night sleep I have ever had in a hotel!
The property is situated just off the main road, up a small access road to the hotel. On arriving we were overwhelmed with how stunning the location was. Very idyllic indeed.
The meals were excellent the room was imcaulate the staff were absolutely lovely couldn't wish for a better stay at a lovely hotel well done to everybody thank you so much
Excellent place as a base to explore Guisborough. Clean, nice to have the bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. Good location for Guisborough high street.
