The staff here were wonderful! From the moment we walked in, Tori was the epitome of a warm welcome. As a last-minute booking, we truly hadn't been expecting too much, so were completely blown away with the history of this place. Kevin, Milly and the lady who had worked with horses (can't remember her name now..), all of them were just marvelous. The gardens here are also beautiful - just what we needed after a full day of hiking and exploring.

Room was decorated to a very high standard and the bathroom was lovely and spacious, the views from the room were wonderful. Staff all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was beautiful.

The cooking and the wife's friendly ability to deal with. Unfortunately I had been rather unwell following a wedding the night before and we left a mess behind. O/h offered to clear it but leaving time was fast approaching, as therefore pleased that they were happy to clear it up.

Beautiful setting by the River Wye-lovely area for walks! The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was well-appointed with lovely products and good lighting, scrupulously clean! We loved the cozy restaurant and were very pleased with the excellent quality of the meals, including breakfast. The wait staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating.
