Lovely and cozy hotel. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our room. The room was extremely comfortable, with lots of space and a big bed. Our waiter at dinner, He-man, was beyond exceptional to us and everyone in the dining room.

It Is a beautiful place. It is old but very well maintained. We felt very comfortable there. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly. Really nice sauna with cold shower - excellent after hiking.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back:)

it's one of my favourite places in the world! Lovely little town, good parking facilities, great food available wonderful views and plenty to see all around. Love the river Usk and its surrounding area. At least 2 great art galleries. Felin fach Griffin, near Brecon, has great food, so does the restaurant by the cathedral in brecon. manor Hotel in crickhowel has very good food but very slow service!angela - 4.0Scored 4.0

The room was clean, the whole building very tired & worn , needs a lot of money spent on it ! Naomi was a very helpful lady she offered us a lift to the local pub which was very kind of her , very friendly & helpful ! Really comfortable bed and it is really as roomy and pleasant as it looks in the photos. Plentiful breakfast to enjoy in the room including fresh berries. We liked being a walk from Llangattock and Crickhowell - it’s a pleasant stroll down to the Horseshoe Inn and back but felt more ‘breathing room’ being set in a quieter location away from the town centre. The toilets in reception were spotless, the breakfast was spot on and our evening meal was delicious. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful, recommending walks and ciders! Would definitely stay here again as the location was perfect and to top it all off the weather was glorious. Many thanks for a lovely stay and we hope to be back.

For potential guests who are not familiar with the area, the apartment is equipped with numerous guides to the many hiking trails in the area. It is easy walking distance to an excellent pub (The Horseshoe Inn, in Llangattock) which serves well kept real ale and food. Crickhowell is a little further with more choices for restaurants and pubs.
