FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully, the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale facade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city center after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Ita a historic city in daytime and party at night. Tons of pubs, clubs and bars for those who like beer, alcohol etc. Very crowded due to peak season. Very very expensive from water to food to shopping to basic necessities. Dont recomend budget travellers to think about this extra expensive citt. From charles bridge to train station, from.old town to new town to wenceslas square every place is full of brands, high end products. Lot of halal food options easily available but skyhigh prices.all the places whether tourist area or resident area have same high price and same stuff. Istanbul kebab opposite palladium shopping mall was cheapest among 20 plus halal food options i searched and stagg was very. Friendly.food quality and quantity also good.all in all very walkable city and weather was extremely romantic to say the least

Prague was a fun city to visit.

Prague was a fun city to visit. I went on a lads holiday and there was something for everyone there. The architecture, monuments, and views are brilliant and worth exploring. Old Town Square was definitely a highlight. Prague Castle was incredible; it's so high up that it seems to overlook the whole of Prague. It's so easy to get around Prague. All of the city centre/old town is walkable. The castle is further away, but probably about a 30 minute walk from the city centre. Ubers are very cheap as well, maybe 200Kc for 4 people on average. I strongly recommend using the Lime scooters, as they are cheap to use and so much fun. You can see the city 4x faster than if you walked around all day. The downside is they're meant for the road, which can be tricky to navigate sometimes. Driving on the pavement is easier, but you will likely get told off by the locals. Use wisely! Food is cheap; on average we spent 300Kc on a meal at a restaurant, which is about £10. Add a drink or two and you will find yourself spending no more than £15 on lunch/dinner, which is class in my opinion. Prague also boasts two big nightclubs, Karlovy Lazne and Duplex. Both were great, but for the best experience go on a Friday/Saturday. It's also worth noting that we felt very safe walking around all parts of Prague, even at night. We left this holiday satisfied, as we explored a lot and did many activities. But from things I've heard and seen online there were hundreds of things we missed! It's safe to say that if you visit Prague, you will never run out of things to do.

Stayed 5 days in Prague and visited different sites. The city is beautiful along history. I typically love its architecture which really amazing. The only thing is that met some drunkard on some streets in the old town area which may cause me a bit fear. Visited Prague Castle and it was really amazing and worthwhile for the trip.

I was so happy to stay at the Michelangelo Grand. The location is great. The tram and subway are less than a block away. There is a shopping center with groceries across the street. And there is a delicious Italian restaurant on the corner. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the Old Town Square. I thought the breakfast was fantastic with lots of yummy choices including scrambled eggs, pastries and fruit. The hotel made me a breakfast to go when I had to leave early for my flight. I would definitely stay there again.

The location was the best, just a few steps ahead of old town square. The building was historical and it was a great feeling to stay in a historical building in the historical center. The views from the windows were so nice. All the furniture was nice and clean. They offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which was great. Lovely hotel, rooms were spotless and large. We booked a triple and we had plenty of space. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Hotel is close to the Old Town, took us about 15min walk to get to the Astronomical Clock. Plenty of small corner shops around. An exchange is close by and the rate was the best we could find compared to city centre. As you turn right going out from the hotel you'll find it in about 300-400m.

The hotel is essentially a brand new hotel, it was very close to the city center and a walking distance of local amenities, Old Town Square was essentially a 11 minute walk from there. List of food places nearby with a pop up food market about a 8 minute walk from the hotel. The decor is very modern and colorful, has a minimalist feel to it and great furniture placings. The breakfast was really good, and satisfying for just €10.

The best thing about this hotel was the location, you will be at just few steps from St Nicola's Church, Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock.
