Rayleigh is a historic town with a very old church and graveyard at the bottom. The Main Street is vibrant with many cafes and restaurants. There are small independent shops as well as a lovely indoor market and M&S food hall. Near Rayleigh is a large Sainsbury’s with Petrol station. The area nearby has lots to offer, more lovely towns like Maldon and beautiful countryside and nearby estuary.

An excellent High Street with lots of shops (both independent and chain), with places to eat and drink (huge breakfast in The Roebuck - Wetherspoons) plus an indoor market,. There'a a Dutch Cottage, a windmill and a museum. There are lots of parks (including King George V and Rayleigh mount) for a morning walk, plus ample parking. Great links to Southend and London Liverpool Street.
The location was perfect for us because we used to live in Rayleigh and wanted to use it as a base to visit our friends. It is near to the bus and train stations and the High St is about 20 mins away, walking. London is 45 mins to 1 hour away by train ( depending on the train you get ) and Southend a little under 30 mins. It isn’t really in a holiday location.
Perfect flat, beautiful, clean, modern and sooooo cosy.
Travelled for work and was so nice to come back to this flat instead of a hotel room. A real home from home, private, safe and wonderfully comfortable. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
