Hotels that guests love in Queens

  • Great quiet location, close to 2 metro stations, easy to get to Manhattan, only 10 minutes by metro, easy to get to LaGuardia airport, 4 metrostatios and good busconnection. Easy to get to JFK, metro from JFK to Jamaica station, then change to other metro, also easy to get to Newark. Staff is great at the hotel, goodsize bed, good shower, clean room, nice breakfast with lots of choice. Good restaurant nearby, 1 minute walk, called Mickeys Pizza. Wifi was good. Would stay there again.

  • The cost was pretty good for two beds and it was by far the cheapest hotel I have stayed at since coming to New York. The staff was really nice

  • The best thing about the Days Inn Hotel, Jamaica N.Y, and the reason I would use it again, is its location. If you are arriving late at JFK airport (especially if you have flown from Europe and have "gained" 5 hours) it is a convenient and reasonably priced stop-over before continuing your journey/holiday. Nothing fancy, but a comfortable bed in a clean room - and a good night's sleep - that was all we needed. Plenty of help-yourself breakfast.

Malcolm, Mature couple from the United Kingdom
  • Lovely spacious, nicely decorated bedroom, next door to a police station, staff by and large helpful, near subway. It is a new hotel so it can only get better when it learns from reviews like these.Restaurant facilites be great. It has access to a spa but I did not have time to use.

    Anne, Solo traveler from Ireland
  • Close to the train, manager was able to let us check in early. Small rooms compared to other hotels in Long Island city but we just needed a place to sleep and take a shower, with the exception of the toilet the room seem clean and although our room was facing the train we didn't have problems to sleep. 7 eleven is around the corner, beds were acceptable and pillows were really nice. Good water pressure, plenty of towels.

Days Inn - Long Island City Pleasant 6.5 The localization is amazing ...in five minutes you are in times square!
JFK Inn Okay 5.8 Nice friendly staff. Nice location
Best Western JFK Airport Pleasant 6.9 Cookie on arrival, free wi fi, 24 hour coffee/tea making facility, free airport shuttle, breakfast to go at 5.30 en route to airport. Impressive!
Ravel Hotel Good 7.5 Free shuttle, free parking Subway nearby, very convenient to get to manhattan. Excellent staff. Good breakfast. Good restaurants within the area. Felt safe. Modern hotel. They upgraded our room upon arrival.
Ramada Queens Pleasant 6.4 I booked a 2 night stay for my parents and they loved this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and the AC worked and was quiet. The bathroom was awesome and they loved the large shower head. There wasn't a ton of walking space in the room but who needs that really. They said breakfast was great. All sorts of things like eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels and cereal and the gentleman working there was super friendly and accommodating to them. The location was perfect as there are buses that stop right at the hotel and charge $2.50 per ride. This was a plus as my parents were going to the Belmont Stakes and for $10 roundtrip, didn't have to deal with event traffic or the parking fee of $30, not to mention they didn't have as far to walk! Food options within walking distance are more limited. They found a Popeye's and there were a few halal food vendors and markets as well. My Dad purchased a Philly Cheesesteak from one and it was delicious. If my family happens to be in the area again, we would definately stay here and you can't beat the price!
Best Western Plaza - Long Island City Good 7.7 We had a king size room with a city view (room 805) and it was fantastic. The bed was so comfy, I wanted to bring it home!!! If this hotel was in Manhattan you would be paying at least 3times more than what they charge. But it is so worth staying in long island city and getting the subway (2min walk from the hotel) into Manhattan. The free breakfast in the morning offers a wide variety and is delicious. Before we left for New York we were planning on where to leave our suitcases in the city on the last day after we checked out. But when we arrived the people at the desk told us they looked after them for free which was really really helpful. I was really impressed with this hotel, we will definitely be staying again in the future, I couldn't recommend more.
Red Roof Inn Queens Pleasant 6.8 The hotel was only 30 minutes away from Manhattan, located near Sunnyside Queens. Our room was big and clean and had no bed bugs! Bed bugs are a big problem in New York City, so we were very happy that the Red Roof Inn was clean! The wifi worked great and the free breakfast had fantastic waffles and coffee! We arrived early and had to wait a few hours but they kept our bags safe until we returned to check in.
Hotel Q New York Pleasant 6.3 Beautiful room, i loved the high ceilings. Very Clean accommodating
