We liked the Ship.
We liked the Ship. Recommend rooms with balconies or else you might feel detached since the windows are not sufficient for a view. Reception person , Ms. Megan was very good. Breakfast was good. Pool was small & not at par. Dinner buffet was disappointing and not worth spending. Location is good. parking is available.

if your`re not into hot weather then pick a time of the year when Dubai is more accessible. Its an amazing city but be prepared if you pick a venue out of the city then its a good taxi ride...but the taxis are good value for money.

This is a new big city where there are few locals and many foreigners who come to work. Most of the people are from India and Pakistan. It is a city to come visit once. The metro is a close walking distance, many grocery stores are around the area including a few pharmacy. Wafi mall is the closest with just one metro stop which has Carrefour, other malls are the Dubai festival city mall.The hotel has everything you need besides spa, airport shuttle and sauna area. I do recommend going higher up since construction is all around the hotel and it's a bit loud.AbeKuwait

We love the location, it is great for long walks in the evening in the Media City Park. It is a 25 min walk (3k steps) to Marina Mall area (you can also take a tram, just outside the hotel). And a 30min taxi trip to Dubai Mall or 15 by taxi to Emirates Mall. Monorail station to Palm Jumeirah is 5min walk from the hotel. So location wise it is quite convenient if you want to visit different parts of Dubai in the same week.
