This is one of the best bnb's we have stayed in for a long time. Everything has been thought of. There are real glasses. There is ice in the freezer. There is shampoo and conditioner. There is a full-length mirror that doubles a makeup mirror. The bed is super comfortable. The TV works and the wifi is excellent! Ad on top of all that, there is a small Irish Pub for your exclusive use. We absolutely loved this stay.

One of my favourite places to visit I’ve been before and already want to go back. Lots of places to explore walking around the harbour is interesting but you have to slow down and take it in to fully appreciate everything.

We have holidayed in Hayle several times and we like the area very much. Like all holiday areas there is some good parts and some not so good, so you need to do your homework. There is plenty of supermarkets in Hayle as well as eateries, in the summer months it is probably best to book ahead especially if you wanted to dine at one of the local restaurants. Although not beach people, we found the beach to be clean and well looked after.

A good sized town with everything you’re likely to need for day to day shopping. There are pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and fish & chip shops too. If you like Cornish pasties, there’s more than one award winning shop, we got ours from Philps and they were delicious!

Hayle itself is a beautiful little place and has everything you need from a local beach, to a supermarket and to a chip shop and a couple pubs. But most of all, it’s so quiet and where we stayed in the Primero Apartments, it was so peaceful throughout day and night and barely any traffic would pass us as we were just of the main road of the village!

The views from the apartment were lovely and you could walk along the front to the beach. there is building work going on but once inside the apartment it was not a problem. There were lots of quality places to eat Lou’s fish and chip shop for take away and bucket of blood pub to eat in to name just two.

Notify guests that there is an adjacent chalet site...

Notify guests that there is an adjacent chalet site convenience store further up the road towards the nearest public house, ‘The Bluff Inn’ which is OK for enjoying a drink in the beer garden. ‘The Cove Cafe’ further along the beach is great for lunch - try the Fish Soup!… Talking of ‘The Bluff Inn’ pub, upon reading its many mixed Trip Advisor reviews and their telephone line not working when attempting to make a dinner reservation, we then enjoyed an excellent visit to ‘The Terrace’ Italian Restaurant on Commercial Road in Hayle. We also enjoyed dinner at ‘The Bucket of Blood’ public house (read about its history) just a good walk along the road in the Phillack village. Excellent hosts, food, drink and friendly locals and their dogs. A full food shop can be made at the local large Asda and Lidl supermarkets.

We had a great few days here at the high house retreat, the view is wonderful and the setting a perfect backdrop to our families trip to Cornwall this year. Love the interior design, really modern and homely, the ceiling speakers and victorian bath were big highlights for us. Location was fantastic, managed to get over to st ives perranporth and falmouth with little fuss, all making for a lovely cornish getaway. Dana was a wonderful host welcoming us with a beautiful gift basket of wine and cornish treats! We will definitely be back again!

Warm friendly welcome and good full english breakfasts - even had the option of fizz at breakfast if we'd wanted a bucks fizz! Great private parking at rear of hotel - made getting stuff inside really easy (?6 spaces, on first come basis) but big public car park just across the road Nice to be able to head down to the bar of an evening Really appreciated the 2 large, soft towels each Good price for large room in Hayle with everything you need: fridge, tv, kettle, wardrobe etc Walking distance to asda and lots restaurants nearby

The location was ideal. Perfectly situated between Hayle, St Ives, Penzance, Redruth etc. The cottage was superb. Every room was spacious and felt so homely. The new bathroom looked amazing, beautiful tiles and stunning bath. The car parking was easy to access around the back of the property. The local pub was a stones throw away and their food was delicious - ate and drank in there most evenings!! I would not hesitate to book here again...in fact I would love to live here!!

Perfect for a holiday in Cornwall with two children. Very modern and clean with a good sized fridge and large shower. Tranquil surroundings in small woodland area and quite close to Carbis Bay beach. The host was very friendly, warm and welcoming upon arrival. This is how beach accommodation should be and there should be more available like this in Cornwall. Perfect log cabin stay!

We had a wonderful couple of days. The Cottage is beautifully well kept and overlooking a stunning rural view of Cornwall. There is bus stop right outside the door and it's a short 10 minute drive to Hayle, Penzance and St.Ives. Property has everything we needed and hosts were always available to ask questions of and very happy to do so! Highly recommended!

Fab location from which to base your exploration of Cornwall. Enjoyed seeing the trains and our excellent host, Ian, changed the flags everyday. It became a wee challenge to work them out. Sitting out in the garden in the evening was a pleasure. Relaxing and chilling. Had a fab time.
