This is one of the best bnb's we have stayed in for a long time. Everything has been thought of. There are real glasses. There is ice in the freezer. There is shampoo and conditioner. There is a full-length mirror that doubles a makeup mirror. The bed is super comfortable. The TV works and the wifi is excellent! Ad on top of all that, there is a small Irish Pub for your exclusive use. We absolutely loved this stay.
Offering sea views, The Penellen guest accommodations room only in Hayle provides accommodations, a garden and a patio. Complimentary WiFi is available.

One of my favourite places to visit I’ve been before and already want to go back.
Lots of places to explore walking around the harbour is interesting but you have to slow down and take it in to fully appreciate everything.

We have holidayed in Hayle several times and we like the area very much.
Like all holiday areas there is some good parts and some not so good, so you need to do your homework.
There is plenty of supermarkets in Hayle as well as eateries, in the summer months it is probably best to book ahead especially if you wanted to dine at one of the local restaurants.
Although not beach people, we found the beach to be clean and well looked after.

A good sized town with everything you’re likely to need for day to day shopping. There are pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and fish & chip shops too. If you like Cornish pasties, there’s more than one award winning shop, we got ours from Philps and they were delicious!

Hayle itself is a beautiful little place and has everything you need from a local beach, to a supermarket and to a chip shop and a couple pubs. But most of all, it’s so quiet and where we stayed in the Primero Apartments, it was so peaceful throughout day and night and barely any traffic would pass us as we were just of the main road of the village!

Notify guests that there is an adjacent chalet site...
Notify guests that there is an adjacent chalet site convenience store further up the road towards the nearest public house, ‘The Bluff Inn’ which is OK for enjoying a drink in the beer garden. ‘The Cove Cafe’ further along the beach is great for lunch - try the Fish Soup!… Talking of ‘The Bluff Inn’ pub, upon reading its many mixed Trip Advisor reviews and their telephone line not working when attempting to make a dinner reservation, we then enjoyed an excellent visit to ‘The Terrace’ Italian Restaurant on Commercial Road in Hayle. We also enjoyed dinner at ‘The Bucket of Blood’ public house (read about its history) just a good walk along the road in the Phillack village. Excellent hosts, food, drink and friendly locals and their dogs. A full food shop can be made at the local large Asda and Lidl supermarkets.
Warm friendly welcome and good full english breakfasts - even had the option of fizz at breakfast if we'd wanted a bucks fizz!
Great private parking at rear of hotel - made getting stuff inside really easy (?6 spaces, on first come basis) but big public car park just across the road
Nice to be able to head down to the bar of an evening
Really appreciated the 2 large, soft towels each
Good price for large room in Hayle with everything you need: fridge, tv, kettle, wardrobe etc
Walking distance to asda and lots restaurants nearby
The accommodation was clean, tidy, cosy and warm. Facilities (especially the bathroom) were good and the location was great. Parking was easy as the property has a driveway. Also easy access to local amenities (restaurants, Asda, etc.) and tourist attractions (Hayle Beach, St Michael Mount, St Ives, etc.). The rent charged was very reasonable. The milk and buns were a nice gesture! (thanks Sam). My family and I would definitely book again if we visited Cornwall in the future. Highly recommended.
The location was ideal. Perfectly situated between Hayle, St Ives, Penzance, Redruth etc. The cottage was superb. Every room was spacious and felt so homely. The new bathroom looked amazing, beautiful tiles and stunning bath. The car parking was easy to access around the back of the property. The local pub was a stones throw away and their food was delicious - ate and drank in there most evenings!! I would not hesitate to book here again...in fact I would love to live here!!
Great location for getting around various places in Cornwall.
Fantastic and unique little gem that has clearly been well designed with plenty of love and attention. Great host, really friendly and full of information if the local area. Includes a couple of lovely friendly dogs and a sleep cat to greet you in and out every day!
We went for a mini moon and Lee and Sharon were wonderful and set the place up romantically for our arrival.
Just wish we had the place for longer!
the settings were beautiful, the pod was the perfect size for four of us (2 adults, a 9 + 6 year old).
love that cups etc were provided. The bed was very comfortable, and the kids LOVED the bunk beds. The shower was phenomenal, it had amazing water pressure.
The location is great, we travelled all around Cornwall during our stay and never had to drive for
more than an hour. There’s a Lidl, petrol station, Boots etc at the bottom of Wheal Alfred Road, 2 minutes away.
Thank you Ann for a wonderful stay, I wish we'd stayed longer! The attention to detail is incredible, and our Copper House room was a delight, one of the loveliest rooms I've stayed in, more like a boutique hotel! The location is perfect, close to St Ives but a bit quieter and super close to the lovely 4 mile stretch of beach, an ideal base when we were rushing around all over the place. I hope we can come back soon and have more breakfasts!
Fantastic stay, whole house was clean, modern and beautiful. Greeted with red roses, Cornwall shortbread biscuits and healeys apple juice and a lovely smell. Everything was easy and informative a lovely place to stay. We used the hot tub both nights and loved it. We also walked to the beach and lighthouse which is very easy to get to and nice to leave the car. Loved all of it
We had a wonderful couple of days. The Cottage is beautifully well kept and overlooking a stunning rural view of Cornwall. There is bus stop right outside the door and it's a short 10 minute drive to Hayle, Penzance and St.Ives. Property has everything we needed and hosts were always available to ask questions of and very happy to do so!
Highly recommended!
Everything - cabin (super clean, cosy, excellent facilities, super comfy bed), host (natural excellent hosts, super welcoming, great advice on how to get the most out of your trip), Irish bar (brilliant extra to make the trip even better) and great location.
This is the place to stay if you’re looking to explore west Cornwall.
Local hotel with bar, close to train and busses, kind and helpful hosting staff. Building and furnishings loaded with character. Large room, high ceiling, spacious bathroom, very comfortable shower. Breakfast each morning hot and delicious. There was a frig with milk for coffee and tea with plenty of beverage supply.
Amazing hosts with amazing dogs! So friendly and helpful you couldn’t wish for better.
The lodge was so clean and we loved the theme, plenty of space and the bed and sofa was so comfortable.
Beautiful scenery, great location to drive to many parts of Cornwall and loved the trains running by.
Cosy annex on the house of the owners. Ian is SUCH a nice guy, warm and friendly and so is his wife! Perfect location for all of Cornwall really. Amazing beach nearby. Annex had everything we needed and also privacy too. Very quiet. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Quality apartment which was spacious and clean. Furnished with high end furniture with a lovely outside sitting area which was great for just chilling out. Great location for touring Cornwall allowing us to either drive around or go on walking tours.
Great location, ten minutes from some of the best beaches in Cornwall. Everything you'd need for a short holiday. Quiet, secluded but not TOO middle-of-nowhere.
