The location was great. We could walk to the old city wall and wander around. The hotel is a short distance from the cruise port terminal. We will stay here again if we do another cruise out of Southampton.

This didn't feel like a budget hotel to me. I liked the modern lay out of our triple room. All the staff I encountered at reception were super helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

We were looking for a hotel with a swimming pool - this was a great facility Room was very good - well furnished, good view and well provided Restaurant was pleasant and the dinner menu attracted us to eat in both nights, breakfast was superb Staff always available and friendly and helpful The building is pretty grand and I like its historical connections

Extremely Dog friendly Hotel in heart of the new forest but close to amenities and attractions. Staff were amazing and helpful. Loved we were so close to wildlife and saw countless ponies , boars and cows.

    Plenty of living space for a weekend break, close to Southampton and Paultons Park. Able to park at the carpark behind the shopping precinct for 24 hours. @£10. Comparable price to three separate hotel rooms but more suitable for our family party including babies and toddler.
