Everything was great, the parking permit is a great touch, I was not aware of this perk.
Having stayed a number of times at this hotel, everything was a good as usual.

Lovely spacious room, comfy bed, and great rainfall shower. It had everything we needed for our short stay. The road was quiet and there's a CO op within walking distance with a bakery which was great for breakfast. I would stay here again if in the area.

It was convienent for visiting the historic dockyard
An important harbour for centuries, Portsmouth counts with one of the busiest ferry piers in the United Kingdom, has the oldest dry dock still in use in the world. Its Historic Dockyard is home to famous British ships like Lord Nelson's flagship HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and the HMS Warrior.
In the picturesque Old Town you’ll find typical English pubs, coloured houses, and small independent shops. It also has a Fish Market provided by the city’s small fishing fleet. In Old Portsmouth is possible to find smaller hotels, B&B’s and guest houses, some of them not far from the ferry harbour.
The Gunwharf Quays are a modernly renovated shopping area, home to the Spinnaker Tower, while the centre has an ever-growing number of shops. Don’t miss Commercial Road and the Cascades Shopping Centre. Hotels in Portsmouth’s city centre allow you to be close to everything what the city has to offer.
For relaxing moments, Portsdown Hill allows panoramic views over the city and the Isle of Wight. During summer, its sandy beaches are a must.

My accommodation, booked and paid for, was a complete disaster. It no longer even existed. Don’t get caught out, and don’t believe anything you see about staying at ‘Zoom’, it is a lie.
I was thankful to get a room at Travelodge in Portsmouth instead, but all this after a long day’s travel by train from up north.
Travelodge felt like heaven! Portsmouth was fine, but tainted by my bad experience.

The coastal area is nice to walk along.
The coastal area is nice to walk along. The Mary Rose & Victory Museum are very good.
Portsmouth city centre is dull, lacking greenery or planters, many shops are empty. It is not an attractive city centre!
There is a statue of Charles Dickens in the Guildsquare otherwise the area is grim.

The attraction was the harbour.
The attraction was the harbour. The ticket was expensive but well worth it. The Mary Rose Museum was phenomenally good - exciting, imaginitive and caught the attention of grandparents, parents and children alike. The Victory was almost equally good and the guides there were exceptional. We also visited the Warrior where the guide took over explaining to the children, told us an immense amount but also had us all in fits of laughter. Strongly recommended for all ages
We also very much enjoyed Portchester castle and the exhibition on the prison there (and the cafe in the church.
Great location right on the waterfront and directly opposite the bus station, the Portsmouth Harbour train, the Spinnaker Tower, and the IOW ferry. There's a co-op store next door and a few pubs nearby.
A very clean room, comfy bed and large en suite. Tea and coffee making supplies, TV and table and chairs. I was actually upgraded without knowing it!
The bar downstairs was full of my fellow Derby fans, and it was nice and traditional. Also, as a resident, you can get a late drink at the Keppel's Head Hotel a few doors down.
Great little hotel right next to Portsmouth Harbour: convenient for rail, Isle of Wight ferry, Gunwharf Quays, and the historic Dockyard.
Good standard of cleanliness throughout, food was good quality and quantity at reasonable price, and the staff were excellent. Knows the market it is catering for and obviously very much a "Navy" establishment.
Travelling for business - even allowed me to park all day following check-out, which they didn't have to but was greatly appreciated. Will be booking to stay again.
I love this apartment. It's very clean and well presented and equipped with everything that you may need. The hosts are very helpful and we're available to answer any questions about the property. I had a great weekend stay and the location is perfect for both Portsmouth City center and Southsea Beach. Great value for the money, I would definitely like to stay in the apartment again. Thank you for letting me stay in your beautiful home.regards Doug.
The hotel is in a great location.
We asked for a room at the back of the hotel, due to nightclub opposite at the front, not a problem!
Everything was extremely clean.
£10 to park for 24 hours, which is very cheap for Portsmouth.
Easy 10 -15 walk to dockyards and Gunwharf Quays. Town centre 5 minute walk.
Beds nice and comfortable.
Great base and somewhere to sleep.
Normal breakfast choices, asked for soya milk from bar, staff helpful and friendly.
modern, clean, comfortable and a great breakfast. we only arrived at about 18.30 after flying back to England then a coach journey back to Portsmouth to get our car so I booked the hotel rather than a 6 hour drive after traveling all day, it was a short visit but we would definitely stay here if we come to Portsmouth again.
The hotel is convenient for Old Portsmouth and not far from Gunwharf Quays, in a fairly quiet area despite its High Street address. There are local options for breakfast and other meals while the attached pub is being renovated. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay, and staff on duty at reception are helpful.
We loved the location - only 5 minutes’ walk from Portsmouth Harbour railway station and well situated for the Gunwharf Quays shopping outlets, bars, restaurants and the attractions of the Dockyard naval museum. Staff were helpful, the hotel was clean with plenty of hand sanitiser available, and the breakfast was good.
Perfect location overlooking Portsmouth harbour and the HMS warrior
Rooms were beautiful loved the arched windows on our room
Staff were friendly especially the waitress at breakfast
Reception manned 24hrs
3 minutes walk to gunwharf quays shopping centre, 1 min walk to Portsmouth harbour train station
Exceptionally well decorated and clean rooms with en-suite at just £55/night. Friendly staff (who just completed his degree and was very positive about the family business and life- was a real booster on a cold wet and late evening). This hotel just reflected that positivity.
l was disappointed that one of them common things and cheaper to buy and can be found in any guest house or hotel was not a there in the kitchen. ( Tea, sugar and coffee wasn't). tThe shower drain was blocked and l was standing in a pool of water whiles taken my shower.
great location for early check in a Portsmouth harbour condor ferries, very close to gunwarf keys
staff very friendly even moved my car for me in the evening to the hotel gated car park for safety when they realised I had parked in public car park behind the hotel
The most important point make me come again is the location. This is not the first or last time for me in this lovely hotel, it’s my only one distinction in Portsmouth. Especially after the great renovation they did.
An excellent location, at Gunwharf Quays and near to Portsmouth Harbour station and the Historic Dockyard. A great welcome from Barry, a very comfortable and practical flat, and an amazing view from the ninth floor.
